Out of Sight, Out of Time question

i've just began the series in aprill and noticed the last book only the good spy young was realesed last year.So that makes it two long years hanging on a the biggest cliffhanger because i want Zammie , I need the high of reading the thriller-action covert affairs of a spy.Please let there be 6th book of Cammie before- and after her spy high graduation.

Hi! I just wanted to say that yes, I agree it's been a while, but a book does take a while to write and she is currently working on another series as well. She's actually written a few posts on her blog about how long it's taken to write this book if you want to read them.

There will be a sixth book but she's going to write Heist Society 3 first, which sucks for me since I hate the protagonist of that series and don't care for the books.

So, two years to go before Book Six

Way too long of a wait. Especially because I got the fourth book 3 days after it came out and read it all that day. So it's been the longest wait EVER for me. But it is true that she's writing Heist Society too and I do love those books too, but I like Gallagher Girls better. And another two years of waiting for the sixth book will drive me crazy!

LOL, it has been a while. In response, Shelby, a book takes a while to write, but Carter does write slowly. Many authors release one or two books a year -- there are even some who release four books a year, like Kingsbury.
While I'm interested in reading the rest of the books, I won't be driven crazy, and I won't die. Lots of other books can keep you busy!

Most definitely. And now that the new one has come out, I bet the one after Out of Sigh, Out of time will be exactly the same... IT'S CRUELTY!!! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO WAIT THIS LONG??!!

You people are obviously not writers. Do you know how long it takes for an author to write a book? First they need the idea, then they need to write a first draft, then send it to the editor, then write another draft, then send it to the editor, then edit it once more, then send it to their agent, who sends it to the publisher, who starts to publish the book, but while this is happening the author must get an idea for the next book while simultaneously dealing with the publishing company, and the agent must create tour dates and advertisements for the book, and when the book is finally published, the author needs to go to signing and events and also finish the next book by the deadline. And this is all done in about a year. Still think it takes too long?
