I've been exposed!
a bananas a berry, not a nut ;P And they walk. Freakish things, don't go near them. You piss off a banana tree, it will track you down. They're evil alien landfish.
berries are fruits, and there are many types of fruits, and bananas do actually come under the berry subcatergory of fruit. And the trees do actually walk, at about a rate of 1m per year.
Hence evil alien landfish here to take over the world.
Micaela, that was also a bit of humour:floccinaucinihilipilification = the estimation of something as valueless
don't worry, I'm constantly confused. I find the best way to handle it is to just wade in with completely insane statements, and hope no-one notices you're winging it :P
Micaela wrote: "Is floccinaucinihilipilification even a real word?!?!"yes, its one of the longest words in the english language, the longest is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
Micaela wrote: "What does that mean"It means that I think that your guys' objection to the technicality of my pun is a perfunctory problem that proceeds to pummel my playfulness instead of pandering to my propensities and thereby placating my proclivity to pounce on pompous people.
Micaela wrote: "what does pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis mean"a lung disease contracted from the inhalation of very fine silica particles, specifically from a volcano
Will wrote: "Micaela wrote: "What does that mean"It means that I think that your guys' objection to the technicality of my pun is a perfunctory problem that proceeds to pummel my playfulness instead of pander..."
at least people are talking to you, though Will, that must make you feel special.
I've just realised that Miceala's avatar is her (I assume) with draco malfoy. That's pretty cool. He looks a bit knackered, mind.
Fair enough. Only other thing I'd seen him in was Anna and the King, when he was about 10. He played an upper class english boy in a silly outfit and a straw hat.
pretty much. But not as bad as Prince Tuptin (sp??)wow, I can't believe I remembered that name... though I did just sit through Aliens: Resurrection, so I can excuse my mind searching for any form of succor at this point.
Yes it is me and he was is Anna and the King i love that movie I never realized that I thought that he was only in Harry Potter and Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
I have always been of the opinion that Dumbledore IS Gandalf. He is Valar, after all, and they do not really die. Plus we have all noticed the similarities, no?
Dumbledore definitely dies, whereas Gandalf, as a Maia, doesn't die. Which technically means that Balrog he beat the shit out of didn't die either, cos thats one of the Maiar too.Though I suppose, technically Saruman dies... but then he is kicked out of the order of wizards and stripped of his powers and has his demi-godhood taken away from him by the Valar, so really, he doesn't count.
And Sauron doesn't die either, he's just banished back to Morgoth.
I thought that i was a huge LOTR fan but I guess not cuz I didn't understand or know about most of what you just said.
Micaela wrote: "I thought that i was a huge LOTR fan but I guess not cuz I didn't understand or know about most of what you just said."it comes from several years of living with my partner, who has an encyclopedic knowledge of Middle Earth. It helps having read The Silmarillion too.
He's the same with Star Wars too.
We're pretty proud of our geekdom... we will be watching Babylon 5 all evening...
Dumbledore is something of the new more contemporary version of a bad ass wizard. Gandolf is old school.
