So I'm trying to choose my next audiobook. I just finished 11-22-63, which was awesome. I've narrowed the choice down to Ready Player One and The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer. It's a tough choice because I've bought Game of Thrones and hated it from the very beginning, and got through about the first six chapters of American Gods before I gave up.
I liked The Information by James Glick, so that makes me lean toward a non-fiction book, but the recommendations on Emperor aren't as good as that of Ready Player One. I'm a big, big, sci-fi fan, but I'm not sure i'm in the mood for a Snow Crash book right now.
So, what should I do? I've decided to try GoT one more time. After listening to 11-22-63 the voices may not be as odd as I found them the first time. At least this way I can save my credit until some of you weigh in.
