Yes, submit the corrected copy. If all you are doing is making a small correction on a document that has already been approved, it will go through the meat grinder with little issue. and the approval will go through quickly.I had to do a correction in my text that a reviewer pointed out to me. The revised version went through in a few days. No problems.
Doc
Thank you Doc. I will do it now.
What Doc said. It only takes a couple weeks the first time you put it through for the Premium catalog distribution approval. Splitter
I've just changed the license agreement and uploaded the new version. It had already been approved, so hopefully it will be as Doc says, and only take a few days. If not, I'd rather wait the process out again than have an error in the book.
I also took the opportunity to upload a new free version of another story and alter the pricing.
I find it very scary reading the uploaded first version of any of my stories, no matter how much I've polished them. If they are free ebooks I've found that people are downloading them as I'm checking to make sure the spacing etc is right. I wish there was a preview option.

Also I don't think they take the old version down till the new one gets through, so you're not missing out on any sales. If it makes you feel better, I redid my file because there were 5 assorted dashes on what should be blank lines. Gutted! But redid it....JAC
Hey, they are approved already. That was only two days! Thanks all.

'The Taint: Octavia' is a free ebook on smashwords but the license notes states otherwise. Will this oversight irritate readers?
The ebook has been approved for premium distribution and has been shipped to Diesel and Apple already. Would it be better to submit a new version with the correct license notes, and go through the whole pending approval and redistribution?
I'm always terrified of finding something wrong, however carefully I (and my husband who edits and proofreads for me) go through a story.
What do you think?
