I've been saying "time to make the doughnuts" for years and people just look at me funny. it was fun to see this obscure Dunkin Donuts reference in chapter 20.

Absolutely caught that reference! I too have been saying it for years, much to the chagrin of those around me who grew tired of it years ago!

I totally got it. I remember chuckling when I heard it (I listened to the audiobook) and even mentioned it to someone else.

Growing up, I had family in Connecticut and Massachusetts, and apparently developed a taste for Dunkin Donuts. DD was my introduction to both donuts AND non-latte coffee (and I'll still grab a pound of their coffee if I come across it in the store).

Yeah, I got it. Those commercials were on all the time as a kid and even as an adult.
