The Way I Found Her by Rose Tremain
Currently reading Catching Fire (I'm psyched...I loved The Hunger Games ) as well as a book of short stories entitled Both Ways Is the Only Way I Want It. Recently finished The Eyre Affair and surprisingly enjoyed it (gave it 4 stars), as it is not a typical genre for me to read.
Just finished reading Journeys in the Dead Seasonby Spencer Jordan, picked up from a charity stall for 20p,so not a bad buy.Yet another of those books with two interwoven tales. This time, although I couldn't find the connection between the two, I found myself totally engrossed. Not necessarily a pleasant tale but less gruesome than a lot of crime writing. Do feel I missed something, somewhere on how the two halves were connected. Would like to hear from anyone who figured it out.
Now supposed to be reading Random Acts of Heroic Love by Danny Scheinmann. Not finding it very engrossing and getting sidetracked into the book my daughter's reading instead.
Still reading Case Histories - Kate Atkinson. Also decided to listen to American Wife - Curtis Sittenfeld (21hrs 30 mins) as this is a library copy and needs to be sent back before I go away on Friday lunchtime. Next will listen to Betty:The Autobiography - Betty Driver.
I have just started "Hannah's Dream". It came highly recommended by Beth, and so far the first seven pages are great!
Just finished the audio of American Wife - Curtis Sittenfeld. Going to carry on and finish Case Histories - Kate Atkinson. Also today I am listening to Scarpetta - Patricia Cornwell and read my Book Circle book too.
I am currently reading The soul catcher by Alex KAvaI originally started her books re Maddie o'dell as a work colleague reccommended and lent me her book and then loved it and read the whole serious.
I have set up a challenge to reread all my 400+ blooks and am rereading based on author first name, alphabetically
I hope I made sense
Last night I finished Case Histories - Kate Atkinson which had a bit weird ending. Now I am going to listen to Betty : The Autobiography - Betty Driver & Goodnight, Beautiful - Dorothy Koomson & going to read my Book Circle book.
Had a kind of melt down last nite. The last 3 books I read/listened to was not what I was expecting. Disliked Scarpetta - Patricia Cornwell, wasn't keen on Betty: The Autobiography - Betty Driver due to what she did before, I think it wasn't my cup of tea (as they say) and finally Case Histories - Kate Atkinson started off good, got to middle was ok, then finally at the end, you just lost the plot of where all these characters and who they were or ended up being. I ended up keep going back and forwards to see who was who.Now I am reading Run For Your Life - James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge.
Finished Run For Your Life - James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge. Now I am listening to Digital Fortress - Dan Brown.

I liked Run for your life-what did you think?
Well I am TRYING to read The Historian because my other group is reading it this month but I'm struggling with it.
I read The Historian a few years ago for a book club and I really enjoyed it. I think there may have been some parts that dragged, but overall I was really glad that I read it. I even recommended and lent it to a few friends before I eventually sold it on ebay (a good way to get some money for some new reads!). I hope you start to enjoy it more.
Recently finished Catching Fire and liked it...gave it 4 stars. This is the sequel to The Hunger Games. Currently reading The Secret of Lost Things A Novel.
Hi, I'm Christa. I'm currently reading One False move by: Alex Kava, because my grandma and I were talking about some great mystery writers and she happened to be one of them that she mentioned most.

Never seen tv programme neither lol. Have no intention to neither. I am listening to it as I have given out the 3 books already and was thinking of listening audio better than sittin readin sometimes lol x
Just finished The Secret of Lost Things A Novel and gave it 4 stars. I really enjoyed this story...I am surprised it has received low ratings from other GoodReaders. I thought the characters and the "mystery" were great! Right now I'm reading The Man in the Picture and The Girl Who Played with Fire.

I think my grandma has a couple of those books on her shelf... I'll have to ask her.
Fiona & Donna - I love the Dexter TV series - though we are a season behind in our viewing. I haven't read the books yet - every time I get to the library they are checked out already.
I have just started "Coventry" by Helen Humphrys. It is the story of a lady during the fateful night in 1940 when Coventry was so heavily bombed.
In past 48hrs I have read/listened to:Darkly Dreaming Dexter - Jeff Lindsay
Furies - Elizabeth Kay
Partners in Crime - Nigel Hinton
Liar - Pete Johnson
Until Proven Guilty - Nigel Hinton

In the past 48 hours I read the last 10 pages of Rebecca. Bad bookworm behavior - you put me to shame Fiona!
Dexter was an audio for just under 9hrs and other 4 are Young Adults.I am away at a friend's at the mo and can sit and read as much as I like lol x
I have listened to Genesis - Karin Slaughter and read Speed - Alison Prince and Clone Zone - Jonathan Meres. Now I am reading The Chain - Keith Gray.
Just finishing up The Full Cupboard of Life one of the No. 1 Ladies Detective AGency books just for a light fun read and then on to Sweetness in the Belly because it was on my TBR list and a good friend just loaned it to me.
Just reading Personal Demon By Kelley Aemstrng . Enjoying it like her supernatural stuff dislike her detective series Working my way through my tbr and this was on my shelf as I ;ike Kelley's supernatural books
Next on my list is Jon Krakauer's Into The Wild. I have the movie but haven't watched it yet because I want to read the book first.
There was something about that movie that really go to me and made me not want to read the book. I don't want to give any spoilers so I won't say more but I have trouble watching Emile Hersh in other movies now.

Hi folks....I know it's been a while, but ya know....life gets away from you and I'm trying to get a promotion @ work right now..so no time to screw around here at work. I've missed ya'll though.I am just now starting the meaning of night by Michael Cox. Hopefully it will be good, cause it's really long.
I just finished reading the No 1 Ladies' Detective agency and I really liked it. It was really cute. Before that I read The somnambulist which was good up until the odd narrator shift towards the end. Lets see, and before that I read Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen, which was REALLY good.
Fi - Nice to see that you are still putting me to shame, although I am up to 114 for the year I think...almost beat last year's book count, woot.
Jo wrote: "I liked that movie but it was really long! I really want to read the book. I hope you enjoy it!"I'm a little surprised that it's 2½ hours long and the book is barely over 200 pages. I wonder how closely they followed the book. I'm excited to see Sean Penn directing, though.
I felt in need of a fluff read so I've started [Book: The Villa in Italy] by [Author: Elizabeth Edmondson].
Just listening to Swimsuit - James Patterson. Listened to Alex Cross's Trial - James Patterson last night.
Fiona (Titch) wrote: "Just listening to Swimsuit - James Patterson. Listened to Alex Cross's Trial - James Patterson last night."what did you think
are you going to try I, Alex cross?
Afsana wrote: "Fiona (Titch) wrote: "Just listening to Swimsuit - James Patterson. Listened to Alex Cross's Trial - James Patterson last night."what did you think

Alex Cross book 15 wasn't what I was expecting, so I might read or listen to his last book.
Just finished the marvellous Swimsuit - James Patterson. Will now listen to The Lost Symbol - Dan Brown.
Susanna wrote: "Next on my list is Jon Krakauer's Into The Wild. I think it was because the kid in the story was a flake and had no idea what he was getting himself into.
The Idyll Inn retirement has just opened and I am being introduced to it's new residents, as I start to read "Exit Lines" by Joan Barfoot.

Which one are you counting as 15? Judge and jury- Iagree that was bad but this one sounds more like his normal escapades
Alex cross's trial isn't counted as part of the alex cross series.
