It looks like the GR importer has gotten confused by the placement of the commas. The authors on your list seem primarily to be listed as last name, first name.
When there were multiple authors, they were listed last1 (first2 last2, first3 last3, first1) and the importer is parsing this into:
last1 (first2 last2
first3 last3
first1). BTW, this ordering of names is pretty common, so the importer should have recognized it.
So your listing for
Eulogium on Marcus Aureliusshould really be
by Thomas (Antoine Léonard, David Bailie Warden, M.)
Eulogium on Marcus Aurelius.
by M. Thomas, Antoine Léonard, David Bailie Warden
This does not look like it will be easy to fix these manually, since you will have to change many books' authors.
I hope this helps.

Does that mean you also fixed all those compounded names with the ( in the middle?
I fixed the ones in the Violetta's list, like "Savary (Claude Etienne", "Ollivier (Charles Ollivier (Charles Prosper", "Boursault (Edme", "Boucher de Perthes (Jacques".
I've misgivings about many other occurrences of names with ( in the middle, because of the huge number of XVIII and XIX edition reprints (I mean the ones by Bibliobazaar and Nabu press).

At first glance, I'd say some of these listings are simple to fix, because it looks like the "M" was meant as either Monsieur or Madame, or perhaps as just a first initial. I could use some help figuring through them all though!
