Kenny (kjamesmobile) | 905 comments Hey, on the one watch, two watch one that Lela posted, I think I understand it! If a man had two watches, he would look at one and see that it was 5:14 and 1 second. Then, when he went to look at his other watch to verify the time, he would see 5:14 and 2 seconds. He would never be completely sure what time it was... Not on first thought, anyways. It wouldn't take that long (no pun intended) to find out what was happening.

message 102: by Lela (new)

Lela | 167 comments that works but also you can't set two watches EXACTLY to each other so you're never sure which one's correct. Unless you get atomic watches, then you've eliminated the problem.

Kenny (kjamesmobile) | 905 comments Ok, I want to hear what you guys think. I will post what I think tomorrow night. Give me opinions, dang it!

Would you rather have a clock that was one second behind or dead? Dead meaning not moving at all, stuck on some random time.

message 104: by Riley (new)

Riley (booksarecool) ...the one that was one second behind...

message 105: by Emma (new)

Emma | 387 comments One second behind... most of my clocks are 5 minutes behind, so I don't care too much about a second.

message 106: by Kenny (new)

Kenny (kjamesmobile) | 905 comments Ok. Everyone keep posting your thoughts. I will answer tonight.

message 107: by Riley (new)

Riley (booksarecool) OKIE DOKIE!

message 108: by Kenny (new)

Kenny (kjamesmobile) | 905 comments Alright, so if you wanted a technically correct watch, you would go with the one that had died. A watch that had died would be correct two times a day, whereas a clock that was one second behind, wouldn't ever be correct.

message 109: by Kenny (new)

Kenny (kjamesmobile) | 905 comments But if you knew it was a second behind, you would just add the second. I just meant technically and specifically, the clock would be better off dead... Literally.

message 110: by Emma (new)

Emma | 387 comments Oh yeah, I've heard that one before.
But I don't like my watches dead.

message 111: by Alex (new)

Alex (bigalreno) | 86 comments my clocks are all plug in because i dunnot like watches, the question is wierd for me because i am constantly resseting my time, becuase we get a lot of power outages and my parents get pissed about my headbanging music. The only mobile time peace i have is my i-ppod.
