Sally906 Hi all - just setting up my space here - The books that have the covers and links are the ones I have read (and reviewed) and the italics means I have not read it - but that is what I am going to read :)

Month 1: Read a book that is set in your Birthday Month, or has the name of the month in the title.
I am a July baby, so:
The Twelfth Day of July (Kevin and Sadie, #1) by Joan Lingard The Twelfth Day of July by Joan Lingard

Month 2: Read a book that has your Birthstone in the title, is about your birthstone, or the cover is the colour of your birthstone.
July = Ruby, so:
Campaign Ruby by Jessica Rudd Campaign Ruby by Jessica Rudd

Month 3: Read a book that was originally published in the year you were born. The version you read may be a subsequent publication.
***Looking furtively over my shoulder*** Shhhh - it is 1956, so:
Dead Man's Folly by Agatha Christie

Month 4: Read a book written by an author from your country.
I am Australian, so:
Bereft by Chris Womersley Bereft by Chris Womersley

Month 5: Read a book set in a country you'd like to visit.
I have always wanted to visit the Channel Islands and have quite a few books set there in my TBR pile, so
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Annie Barrows The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by the late Annie Barrows

Month 6: Read a book from your favorite genre.
I love cosy paranormal mysteries so have earmarked a book due to be released at the end of December which I have had on pre=order for months!
Ghoul Interrupted by Victoria Laurie

Month 7: Read a book written by an author who shares your first or last name.
My name is Sally, so:
The Red Necklace (French Revolution, #1) by Sally Gardner The Red Necklace by Sally Gardner

Month 8: Read a book that has your favorite flower either on the cover or in the title.
Daisies are my favourite flower, so:
Liverpool Daisy by Helen Forrester

Month 9: Read the book that has been on your TBR list the longest.
I picked a book that has been in my TBR pile for 5 years:
The Chrysalids by JohnWyndham

Month 10: Read a book that has your favorite animal or bird on the cover.
We trained, showed and bred Rotties for years, so:
Rottweiler Rescue A Dianne Brennan Mystery For Dog Lovers by Ellen O'Connell Rottweiler Rescue: a Dianne Brennan mystery for dog lovers by Ellen O'Connell

Month 11: Read a memoir or biography of someone you admire.
I loved the Laura Ingells Wilder series - I so wanted to be like Laura, she was my heroine, so I jumped when I saw this one:
The Wilder Life My Adventures in the Lost World of Little House on the Prairie by Wendy McClure The Wilder Life: My Adventures in the Lost World of Little House on the Prairie by Wendy McClure

Month 12: Read a book about an issue/cause that is meaningful to you.
Racism, I abhor it in any form, in this case it was against Japanese –no one should be judged by the colour of their skin or the country they, or their parents, were born in.

Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford

Bonus book based on my hobbies

I love reading and birdwatching - can combine both by reading this:
