Hi Barriodude. Are you talking about Shmoop? I really enjoyed your analysis of DoaS, it pushed me to make further analysis on my own because I disagreed with some of the points you make. If you know the play yourself, would you like to discuss with me whether Ben actually invited Willy to join him to Alaska or it was rather his illusion. In the first Ben appearance he doesn't repeatedly invite Willy to follow him as you write on Shmoop, he talks about Alaska only during his second appearance. It's interesting that the invitation for Alaska echoes Charley invitation to Willy to work for him while they play cards (this can be especially noticed in Dustin Hoffmann "version" of the play)
follow-up: okay i found it. about a page worth of casual summary. some good remarks; but not really analysis. Is there more? wait, yes--i see more pages...
nicely done. meaty content in this. you're covering the material thoroughly, which at first i doubted. its just that the website has a terrible design. try wordpress!!
Just wanted to get feedback on a new website that a bunch of us (mostly Ph.D. and Masters students from Stanford and Berkeley) just recently launched.
Here's our coverage of Death of a Salesman. We'd love to know what you think.
