Chrizette | 906 comments Hopefully 2012 will be a better year than 2011. It was a terrible year for reading for me. But I am determined to make 2012 my best reading year yet!

Chrizette | 906 comments Well, 2012 did chew me up a bit and then spit me out. I have had a few terrible reading years and this year I only read a fraction of what I used to read. Will I be able to break the spell in 2013?

Here is my list of books read in 2012:

Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne
Bear Meets Girl by Shelly Laurenston
After the Snow by SD Crockett
World War Z by Max Brooks
77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz
The Mall by SL Grey
Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith
Switched by Amanda Hocking
The Raft by SA Bodeen
Swipe by Evan Angler
Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
1.4 by Mike A. Lancaster
Angels' Flight by Nalini Singh

Don't worry! At least you're still reading. I know people who never pick up a book and find me weird that I do read. Sometimes reading just isn't a priority but as long as you're still doing it you will be able to fall back into it. Make sure that you have a book with you always wherever you go so that when you do have some time somewhere you will always be able to read. I always have at least 1 book with me so that when I have to wait somewhere or have some spare time I can always read. It is one of the reasons I read so much. :)
I am sure 2013 is going to be your year!

Chrizette | 906 comments I think I had too many goals and got a bit overwelmed when I saw what was still left to do. I fell too much pressure to read and review, read and review. And then as a defense, I procrastinated. Next year is going to be different. I wrote about it here:

I know how you feel. I am not a big reviewer and if I write something on goodreads about a book it is mostly for myself and often only a couple of sentences. Somehow though when I do write more people do like my reviews and I have gotten several likes from complete strangers and that always makes me giddy. :) You should read and write for yourself if you don't it isn't real and no on (not even you) will like it.
