Well quick chime in here
I read Axis when it came out and it was a departure from Spin. Its not really a sequel more of another story in a shared universe. I enjoyed it but it wasnt as good as his previous books.
I have Vortex on my shelf and I hope to read it sometime in Feb or Mar
