Sure. We've been averaging about 100 books per week and 100 would give us 993. So what's 7 more? LOL
Sorry, I'm late with the Sunday update. (Had a migraine.) Woohoo! We're past the half-way mark! 1,012/2,012
WOOHOO!!!! I literally squealed when I saw that! I knew we could reach 1000 by this week!!! Good job us!!!

So many books in such a short period of time. I think we might have an addiction. Not that it's a bad thing. lol
Oh, we're making predictions now? Hmmmm... That's a good guess, Heather. So, I'll go for the forth week in April.
Cindy, there is a hyperlink in the very first post to this thread. You can follow those directions, designating a specific bookshelf for this challenge, or - if you don't want the bother of that - just post your books here, and we'll count them into the total.
I feel like I've slacked off in my reading. Now I feel a bit more motivated to pick it up again. We're quite the book-loving group!
Are you counting books twice if they are posted here and kept on a bookshelf? I have been updating my list on this thread (post #19) since I have to do the same list for two other groups anyway, but I have set up a bookshelf and Goodreads is counting for me. I can stop updating in this thread if it causes problems.
No, we aren't counting books twice, Kirsten. Actually, I didn't realize you were posting to Post #19. You can certainly continue to post there, if you like. However, you don't have to do the "double work" if you don't want to; I only offered that as an option for people to don't know how to join the challenge - or don't want to add an extra bookshelf.

However, you don't have to do the "do..."Okay, I am in four different groups where one of the challenges is how many books I can read in one year. This will be one less copy and paste. Also, I am upping my goal in this challenge since my first goal was a conservative estimate.
