What other authors so often fail, MJ championed in this book: in many books this long process of will they/won't they is just too long and after some time it loses the whole appeal, but here... it was not flat or boring for a second, it was all the time gripping and had you on the tips of your toes.
Altogether, the book has made a fascinating, steamy... quick read. Why quick? Well, because I couldn't put it down, so engrossed was I in Megan and Luc's lives. It is a brilliant love story written with a lot of feeling and understanding.... MJ Summers can really write a hot romance with great characters in it, full of misunderstandings, twist and turns, heartbreaks and hurt but still with a lot of joy and that is a great entertainment. I have really enjoyed this book and will be keeping my eye on MJ Summers in the future.

This book allows the reader to take a camping trip right alongside Amber and Autumn. You'll read about Charlie Brown, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, who accompanies the girls and their mother at a lovely campsite where they set up camp and take meals at the camp owner's home, who just so happens to be a retired farmer.
The retired couple is Jake and Martha Mitchell, who fondly like to be called Mr. Jake and Ms. Martha. Their campsite is set on an old farm with hills, boulder-type rock formations, meadows, barns and lots of wildlife meandering about.
As soon as the girls are finished with school for the summer, their mom takes them to the Mitchell’s campsite where they set up a pop-up trailer. You can be assured there’s a mystery afoot and be positive Autumn is eager as ever to solve it, right along with Amber, too.
Once Mr. Jake tells the girls of ghost sightings and rumors of gold being buried on the premises a long time ago, it peaks the girls’ curiosity. With permission from the owners they begin in search of the gold by attacking the attic where they discover something peculiar, but seems rather insignificant and they meander on to locations in their eager pursuit.
Outside of the girls having fun, each step they take in search of the bandit gold is full of intrigue causing them to believe in the ghost stories and the rumor of the gold. So what do the girl discover by following the description of the ghost sighting? Is it the gold everyone heard so much about? You’ll have to read the story to find out. One thing for certain is that you’ll feel as if you’re the one discovering clues and untangling this golden mystery.
