Snowflake Bride (Love Inspired Historical) by Jillian Hart

How exciting to have Ruby Ballard, heroine from Snowflake Bride, a November release from Love Inspired Historical, with us today.

1. Tell me the most interesting thing about you.

I moved to Angel Falls in Montana Territory not too long ago and I love it here. I've already made the best friends a girl could have, my father finally has his own farm, and I'm learning to crochet. I used to knit but I wasn't all that good at it, so I decided to try to learn to crochet because there's only one needle. Let's just say I'm not the most talented girl there is when it comes to the needle arts.

2. What do you do for fun?

I love to visit with my best friends. There are seven of us all together and we meet for a sewing circle once a week. They are helping me with my crocheting. I'm making snowflake ornaments for Christmas presents.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?

Thinking about the financial trouble my family is in. We had a terrible hailstorm take out most of our crop. We were counting on that money to help pay the yearly mortgage on our farm, so now my father is looking for work. He can't find a job, and my brother just lost his. Good thing the Davises are hiring. I just got on as their kitchen maid. Now I'm praying I can make enough so we won't lose our home by Christmas.

4. What are you afraid of most in life?

How my father will feel if he loses this farm. I'm afraid it might break his spirit because when I was a little girl, he was injured in a field accident and unable to work. We lost our home and our farm and we've been living with my uncle ever since, until we came here. I think it would be too much for Pa to lose a farm twice in his lifetime.

5. What do you want out of life?

If I could dream about the perfect life, it would be a place where Pa keeps his farm, my friends all find their true loves and have happy marriages and where I could admit my great love for Lorenzo Davis. I think he loves me, too.

6. What is the most important thing to you?

Happiness for my family and friends.

7. Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book?

My favorite book is the Holy Bible.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

That I could be the kind of girl wealthy and wonderful Lorenzo could marry.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

Solomon is my family's horse. He is my oldest friend.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I would go back in time and save my father from his farm accident so he could have kept all of his dreams.

Judy I enjoyed revisiting Angel Falls and the Button and Bobbins girls. This was such a sweet romance. What seemed to be impossible, poor girl rich boy, dream.
I am awaiting the rest of their stories, good thing there are so many books to read while I wait!

Judy I did feel the need to look for the buttons in the snow. I really wish that I was a bit less visual when reading!
