Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Haha I don't get to do that often. I have so many priorities on my reading list that I never seem to catch up.

★Meghan★ (starinheaven) | 1455 comments I am always in challenges that I have certain books lined up. I usually can maneuver some books around that will allow me to fit in other books. But it sort of helps me get some of the books that have been on my TBR forever.

Also I am in a Book Shelf Bingo game where every week a shelf is called and you start that book after the shelf is called so that is another thing that I am sort of doing and it helps me get some books I never read completed.

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) The Book Shelf Bingo sounds fun. I'm sure it really helps.

Even when I set up books for challenges, I tend to just change them as I read other books that fit. Or I never even read most of the books that I planned, so the challenge doesn't get finished.

message 105: by ★Meghan★ (new)

★Meghan★ (starinheaven) | 1455 comments I only plan for one challenge and then the rest sort of just pick from that one. I always make sure I pick books I want to read

message 106: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) They're always books I want to read, and I do try to keep them more or less the same books. But it doesn't always work that way. Lately I just try not to plan for anything unless it's what I'm going to read that month. And even that seems to change frequently for me.

message 107: by Mad Scientist (new)

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments I had it all planned out for challenges before I left but I'm here and it just doesen't work out. WHen I get back I will be more organized.

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments I tried reading a steampunk short story from smashwords and it was just not good. I couldn't get past page 7 and now I don't see it here on goodreads.

I'm in a reading slump.

Still stuck on Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater & Once Bitten (Alexa O’Brien, Huntress, #1) by Trina M. Lee

message 112: by Mad Scientist (new)

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments Hmmm... I guess I own it I should give it a shot. LOL! I also have requested at the library 50 shades of gray. But I'm like number 296. Ha Ha! I will be old and gray myself by the time I get my hands on it.

message 113: by ★Meghan★ (new)

★Meghan★ (starinheaven) | 1455 comments I wouldn't be so sure about that. From what I am seeing people are either loving or hating it. They are either zipping through it or getting so disgusted that they throw it to the side immediately. I have been meaning to get around to that book too.

message 114: by Mad Scientist (new)

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments Fifty Shades of Gray is closer to erotica and I read those so I might like it :)

message 115: by Mad Scientist (new)

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments The Last Little Blue Envelope (Little Blue Envelope, #2) by Maureen Johnson Finished another book. And look... it was even one to continue with a series. I usually just get to the first book and hardly move on in series. I'm horrible I know. ;)

message 116: by Mad Scientist (new)

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments I found a new hot Steampunkery book and it is pretty darn tootin good so far! It is a bit hard to read because it is adult. Which also means that I'm just not flying through it but I have to process what I read as well. Anyway, I think you might like this one too! God Save the Queen (The Immortal Empire, #1) by Kate Locke I also think the bookcover is hot. That is a plus. LOL!

message 117: by Mad Scientist (new)

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments Finished Reading Vanish (Firelight, #2) by Sophie Jordan . yes that is a book #2 down for me. Wow! Thanks to the library.

Will be starting Blood Bound (Mercedes Thompson, #2) by Patricia Briggs & I'm excited about that plus it is another series I will be working on.

Anyone else pick this one up?

message 119: by ★Meghan★ (new)

★Meghan★ (starinheaven) | 1455 comments I got a hold of it but haven't had a chance to get around to it

message 120: by Mad Scientist (new)

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments It is actually a pretty good read.

I had a six hour class Friday night *pouts* otherwise I would of finished it by now. I hope to tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Any other NetGalley finds for you?

message 121: by Mad Scientist (new)

Mad Scientist (madscientist) | 1119 comments Finished Stolen by Shiloh Walker . It was really good for a romantic suspense. Would of been better if it was about 50 pages shorter. But still well worth your time if that is your type of genre.

Moving fro ARC's to library books. Now I am reading Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1) by Leigh Bardugo . So far I have a feeling... I"m going to love this one.

message 122: by Mad Scientist (new)
