King hasn't recommended any specific book by this author. I'd say it's safe to pick any of her books.

April | 44 comments Debra....I THOUGHT I read somewhere (maybe "On Writing"?) where he recommended "19 Minutes". (I'm on my iPad and don't have the add book feature.).

Hey April, I thought I had all the On Writing recommendations. I may have missed this one, though. If you could type King's quote about the book, I'll add it to my list.

April | 44 comments Debra, I am not 100% positive on this and my copy of "On Writing" is in storage. I will do some research and see what I can find.

April | 44 comments It appears that he recommended "Handle With Care" in Entertainment Weekly. Here is the link http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20278...

But I am confused over "Nineteen Minutes". I will let you now when I find something out.

Actually, I just checked and I have Handle With Care on my list. Should have looked more carefully. He also recommended My Sister's Keeper. So we have 2 on our list that he specifically recommended.

April | 44 comments I found this from Jodi's website: “You men out there who think Ms. Picoult is a chick thing need to get with the program. Her books are an everyone thing, and the current offering — about a little girl whose bones are so brittle that they break almost at a puff of wind — is her best since My Sister's Keeper. It's a legal/medical thriller, but at bottom it's a story about the American heart of darkness: a small-town marriage under stress. Picoult writes with unassuming brilliance and never descends into soap opera.”
