Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I'm glad you've started you thread, Clive! Welcome!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Simon is our Amazon link master, well he and Karen, of course, but she's away at the moment.
hopefully Simon will have time to pop in this evening and will sort your links then.
So far it's Leiyatel's Embrace, yes?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Anything purchased through our group store page generates a bit of revenue for our group, yes. It's a teeny percentage of anything bought, but we're hoping to raise enough to be able to offer nice quiz prizes. Having said that, many of our lovely and amazing members have offered money, gifts and copies of their books as well. Simon and I are plotting the next quiz...shhhh don't tell anyone.

Our group rocks. Aren't you glad you found us? ;)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments That's lovely and very generous of you, Clive. We may be taking you up on that offer very soon. :D

Stuart Ayris (stuayris) | 2614 comments Great stuff Clive! I am about 30% into Leiyatel's Embrace and I think it's magnificent! Reading it has given me the confidence I need to really be free with my current work in progress in terms of descriptive elements and language. Thank you so much for that! I will be downloading Of Weft and Weave the second I finish Leiyatel's Embrace; or when I've finished the review of it anyway!!

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I think I shall be reading these - Stu has recommended them. He knows I love fantasy and that I'm a sucker for creative language. Got a book or two to get out of the way first!

Stuart Ayris (stuayris) | 2614 comments I feel the same about Tollesbury Time Forever which is actually my second novel. I'm really struggling to promote my first novel as I feel Tollesbury Time is so much better - even though my first has had lovely feedback too! And I feel the one I'm writing at the moment is my best yet! I love writing reviews as much as I like writing books Clive so it's no ordeal, trust me!

Stuart Ayris (stuayris) | 2614 comments All you do is click on the add book/author thing above the typing in box! Very clever!

I guess for me because I wrote my first twenty years ago it is not so much like one of my children but more a reminder of more difficult times. Tollesbury Time Forever was a recognition that things are better and The Bird That Nobody Sees will be confirmation that my life is great!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Aw Clive. It's so good to see you again.

Not sure what would interest you most...

Simon and I have made a new Section in the group called the 'author zone'.

There's some really interesting threads in there.

http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_...

The Morning! thread is still going strong with general chit chat and laughs, of course.

Lots of really interesting discussions in various author threads...

Perhaps an or so of general browsing in the group is warranted.

Do you know about using the 'unread' feature?

Stuart Ayris (stuayris) | 2614 comments As one who is three quarters through Leiyatel's Embrace I am throroughly excited!! I am loving it so much! It's been my constant companion on the bus and round the house and I'm so looking forward to finishing it next week when I'm away!

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments Hi Clive! Welcome back! ;)

I can't multitask either :(

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Pfff - you guys are always making excuses. . .

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Yeah. If they'd put just half as much effort into accomplishing things...
