Team Will or Team Jem?

I know WillxTessa is the "official" couple but I LOVE Jem and I was wondering how many people are on Team Jem and how many on Team Will.

I mean I can't hate Jem, he is so sweet and kind. But I truly a Will's fan.

Jem. Will is just a big cliche, you can find a million versions of him in YA. Never mind that he's a gigantic ass, and doesn't change after he finds out the ~truth~
I can't choose because Tessa was both with Will and Jem. So.... I think this is the best love triangle because Tessa was really in love with them. She loved Will AND Jem in this weird way, but still love was.
Both of them are worthy of Tessa's love and I personally think they both are special to her. For me I am more for Will but either one of them are perfect for her.
Team Will for Tess.
I loved Jem tho, I expected him to end up with Jessamine tho, and then she died, which ruined my dreams.

Ok... ok. Look. Team Will for three clear reasons.
1) They clearly had more chemistry. I'm sorry, but Tessa is a strong, capable and independent woman, who needs somebody just as confident as her to voice their thoughts and opinions. That's why Will and Tessa work so well together. Jem, on the other hand, is unlikely to argue or deny Tessa anything that she wants. Not that Tessa would want anything bad, but healthy relationships are balanced and equals, with no one person giving the other all the time. Will and Tessa have way more in common, and I feel like both of them were more invested in the relationship. Tessa never really once thought of Jem until Will rejected her (it was a lie), and i have always felt like Jessa was a kind of side plot, which would always eventually come in a complete circle back to Wessa. To be honest, Tessa accepting Jem's proposal was surprising and a little annoying. It broke me heart for Will's short-lived happiness to be extinguished so quickly. Also... like, come on. Tessa would laugh more with Will. Like-
2) Tessa didn't wear Jem's jade pendant while she was married to Will. She continues, however, and will continue, I suspect, to wear Will's pearl bracelet for the rest of her life. Surely if she loved them equally, she would have worn Jem's pendant all her life as well?
3) Will is the Edward, Jem is the Jacob. I'm sorry, but it was literally meant to be Wessa from the very beginning of the book. Will rescues her from the Dark Sisters, and not Jem. Although this may seem trivial, perhaps Cassandra Clare is hinting at who Tessa eventually ends up with. (And yes, I know technically it's Jem, but I'm keeping it within the 1800s.)
So there you have it. I could think of dozens more reasons why Tessa and Will work better than Tessa and Jem, but I've probably already made too many Jessa shippers angry. No offense to Jem, he is the sweetest and you can't compare the two boys' dedication, but taking into consideration Tessa's personality and the situation, Wessa is definitely the better match. I feel like while Tessa may have loved Jem, she was IN love with Will. They are different things. Wessa, Clace and Jemma are my OTPs.

Team will for sure! Will is the other half of Tessa's soul as the poets say and they both have the same love for literature. I love will's sense of humor and how he always quotes novels.
i love both honestly both are ideal men, but- will herondale will always have my heart. the morally grey characters are just always my book crushes aka boys with dark hair and eyes.also I love tessa and was happy when she was with jem but will being heartbroken!!. i can not stand for that. i like how jem and tessa also got their happy ending.

para empezar, Jem no tiene personalidad y en el tercer libro se siente como un obstáculo para que Tessa y Will estén juntos, él es muy lindo y detallista, lo admito, pero no tiene la chispa que Will tiene y hasta el mismo Jem lo dijo. Will es esa persona carismática y sarcástica que pone la felicidad de las personas que ama antes de la suya, él es la mitad de Tessa, son almas gemelas. A pesar de todos los obstáculos que tuvieron, Will y Tessa siempre volvían a estar juntos, su amor estaba lleno de deseo y pasión, y como ya dije antes, hasta el propio Jem era un impedimento para que Will y Tessa pudieran estar juntos.
Además, siento que TODA la personalidad de Jem es para que justifiques esa piedra en el amor de Will y Tessa, porque lets be honest, ¡UNA PERSONA COMO JEM NO EXISTE! no se siente real, de todos los personajes en libros que he leído, el es que más ficticio me ha parecido. Sé que muchas personas son "Herograystairs" pero honestamente, no apoyo eso.

I didn't care for Will much. You could tell he had a caring side to him, but the fact that he hid it with jokes and inappropriate flirting . . . I get that he did this because of the so called curse, but I still found him obnoxious most of the time, while on the other hand, Jem was so sweet and kind.
i like jem more than will..but i think i'm team will on this one 😭
I am definitely and solidly on Team Will. I think that Jem is a great person but does not actually have a lot in common with Tessa. Also, I am Team Will because Tessa obviously loves him more than Jem, but she just doesn't want to break Jem's heart. She and Will are perfect for each other and I admit, I am almost always on Team 'bad boy'. Plus I don't think Jem loves Tessa the way Will does.

I was so conflicted between these 2.... i love Jem hes so sweet and awesome but Will is cool to and caring 2..... but in all i have to say Jem, i usually go for the bad boy but i like Jem better here :3
