She looked at him,"John.."she whispered softly.
John gulped, and was about to close his eyes, the pain in his leg was getting worse.
She cradled him in her arms,"hang on baby.."
John closed his eyes.
The ambulance got there.

Soon he was put in a stretcher and inside the ambulance.Skye drove with him to the hospital.
She looked at him worried as they drove.
They made it to the hospital.
He was carried into the examination room and she followed them.
They slowly moved his leg back into the normal position again.
John's eyes were closed, as the doctors were examining him.
Skye hoped it was nothing major.
The doctor's looked at Skye. " He'll be able to go to baseball, but not play."
Skye nodded knowing it won't be pleasant news to John.
The doctors left.
John started to open his eyes slowly.

She was by his side,stroking his hair gently.
"hey hon"she kissed his forehead.
"at the hospital"she told him gently.
"we go home and you take rest"she said softly.
He was sitting and looked at her.
"let's go?"she asked offering him her hand.
John nodded, and grabbed her hand.
She got up supporting his weight and led him out to their car.
He got in the passenger for a change.
She started the ignition and began driving home.
She smiled at him,"don't ever run like that again"
John laughed. " I won't.. and when I get home, I'm falling asleep." John smiled.
John laughed and closed his eyes.
Once they got home, he opened his eyes, and put the seat back to normal.
He walked to the house, and once he got inside fell onto the couch.
She sat by him gently patting him.
John put his head on her shoulder.
She smiled and stroked his hair gently and pulled his head onto her lap,"sleep.."she said.
John smiled and closed his eyes and soon fell asleep.
She held him close gently stroking him.
