Torun, Silversmith and Designer, who exhibited with Man Ray, had her creations worn by Billie Holiday, and lived in France, is in my consciousness as I go through the pages of Half Blood Blues. I want to learn which of the musicians' names were authentic, and which were ficticious. I will keep on reading, as am only 1/2 way through at this juncture.

You didn't like it? I loved it! I loved the dialogue, and the storyline was one I was unfamiliar with, so found it educational as well.

Hmmm.......does sound like I might be the only person not liking it, but some of my friends didn't either. On to other books:)
