Christian Metcalf In this book a young spartan 117 (the master cheif) and all the others (75 in all) recieve traning to be the best of the best.Stollen away as 6 year old children they get wisked away to a milatary camp to train.Little did they know just in time to face the dreaded covenant!

Fred Hughes This entire series of HALO books plus the 2 new Forerunner series books from Greg Bear are great military science fiction.

Unbeatable enemy = unbeatable action
