Pie and Jello (you know what I mean)
"Sure!" she skipped along to the girls dorms, motioning for her to follow. Katie frowned and finally got Lucy to move onto her shoulder instead. "I know your lying, by the way." she said before starting for the girls dorms.
Raisia smiled and followed her up the stairs.Draco blinked, then rolled his eyes, "Whatever." he muttered, trying to smooth his hair back to normal.
Anna pranched into the room and flopped onto the bed, her owl was sitting on her headboard. Anna rolled onto her back and looked at Raisia. Katie climbed the stairs to the girls dorms and sat upon her bed, glareing at Lucy, who just hooted.
Raisia slumped onto her bed, and willo curled into a ball at the end of it.Draco stomped up to the boy's dorm without another word.
"So.... how was the train ride?" Anna asked, flashing a perfect set of pearly whites. Katie shook her head.=, just sighing and layed back.
Raisia smiled. "I was stuck with two boys the whole time."Miranda was sitting quietly on her bed the whole time. she watched katie come in and sit on her bed. "Hey." she siad.
"Ooh, where they cute?" she asked, flipping onto her stomach with a curious face that said 'gimme more details'. Katie closed her eyes and held up a hand with a short wave.
She shrugged. "I guess." the image of Aleyx flashed through her mind.Miranda's baby owl, fizziwig, twittered happily and fluttered over to lucy.
"Aw, do you like someone?! What house is he in?!" she asked excidedly. Lucy hooted caustiously at Fizzwig and scooted away slightly.
"N-no! i don't like anyone!" she she answered, her cheeks turning red.Fizziwig was hooting exitedly and darted around the room. Miranda smiled a little at fizziwig
"Oh." Anna frowned. "Are you sure? No one at all?" she asked then sighed. "He's entergetic." Katie commented, opening her eyes, letting them try to follow Fizzwigs trail.
"Yes, I'm sure." she said, laughing."Yup." miranda answered, and ducked as the owl zoomed past her head
Anna shrugged. "Well, okay then.... are you sure?" she asked again, just for kicks. Katie laughed shortly and sat up.
She laughed agian. "Very sure."Miranda picked fizziwig from the sky and struggled to put him in his cage.
Anna smiled. "Okay, fine." she sat up, sitting on her legs. Katie watched, slightly amused as she did.
She rolled her eyes and yawned, quickly getting into her nightgown.after she had finally put him in the cage she fell atop her bed and sighed deeply. "That bird is crazy."
Anna sighed and stood, getting into her's as well. Their roomates soon found there way into the room, by then Anna was reading. "Seems so." she agreed, tilting her head slightly.
Raisia had her summer homework and wand out. she held a candle in one hand and her wand in the other. "Incendio." she muttered. a weak flame sputtered and died on the wick. Raisia wrinkled her nose in frustration.Miranda quickly dressed into her night clothes and slumped on the bed
Annabeth smiled at the others and went back to reading. She glanced at Raisia. "You'll get it." she said reassuringly. Katie waited awhile before slipping into her night clothes and into bed.
Raisia nodded her thanks. "Incendio!" she said a bit louder. the fire flared than stayed. Raisia smiled triumphantly and put the flame out"Night." Miranda said, closing her eyes.
Annabeth clapped, laughing softly. She shut her book and slipped under the covers. "Well, I dont know 'bout you, but I'm going to bed. Nightly Night!"Katie closed her eyes. "Goodnight." she said softly, slowly drifting into a sleep.
Raisia smiled. "Night." she fell asleep.Miranda fell asleep
~Next day~Anna turned on her side, groaning as sun hit her eyes, she lifted the covers over her face like a little kid.
Katie squirmed under the covers, comfortable with sleep, as she felt herself waking.
Raisia slowly sat up in bed, yawning.Miranda maoned and pulled the covers over her head
Draco blinked groggliy and sat up in bed, his hair a blond mess.
Anna peeked out from under the covers and sat up after a minute. "Mmmm," she groaned tiredly.Katie's eyes flickered open, she blinked, sleep making her body long for more. After a long while she slowly sat up, running a hand through her tangeled hair.
Raisia slowly got out of bed, threw on her school robes and bag. "hurry up and get dressed." she told Annabeth. "I don't want to miss breakfast, or getting our schedules."after a few more minutes she sat up, fizziwig chatterig loudly in his cage. she'd have to go drop him off in the owlery before breakfast.
Draco got up and slumped into the bayjroom, where he fixed his hair and threw his robes and, pinning his prefect badge on, he looked at himself in the mirror proudly.
Anna frowned before hopping out of bed and quickly dressing. She grabbed her bag and stuffed a few more things in, following after her in a little pranch. Katie sat there a moment, just looking at the wall before getting oout of bed and slipping into her robes. She fixed her hair, before nodding at her reflection and leaving to breakfast.
Soon, everybody was seated in the great hall.Raisia had her spells book open and was sipping her pumpikin juice.
Katie yawned agian at the slytherin table, looking at Draco, who was showing off his prefect badge.agian.
Aleyx walked into the great hall, a little late due to the fact he stayed up till at least one am last night. He looked tired still as he found his way over to the Gryffindor table. Katie sat diagonal him, she tore of a piece of some toast and stuck it in her mouth. She glanced up at Draco through her lashs, not sure whether she was supposed to roll her eyes or laugh at the others faces.
Raisia perked up as the owls came in. a school owl dropped her schedule in front of her and she opened it up. "Hmm....we have herbology with grhyffindor." she noted she looked over the rest of the list. care of magical creatures with slytherin, potion's with hufflepuff,transfiguration,history of magic and defense agianst the dak arts just ravenclaw she sighed at the list.Mirando looked up as the owls all plopped schedules in front of them. slytherin had potions with gryffindor, herbology with hufflepuff, and, sense she took it, care of magical creatures with ravenclaw. the rest was just the slytherin's.
Draco had the exact schedule as miranda and narrowed his eyes when he saw potions with gryffindor. "Figures. he muttered.
Aleyx picked up his scheudule and dropped his head down onto the table with a "Ugh!" when he saw the 'Slytherin and Gryffindor'. Cedric laughed at him until he saw it too...
Katie looked over hers a moment. She could care less about the about potions with the Gryffindors, it's not like she talked to anyone really. Besides, Snape loved practically any Slytherin that entered his class, he'd be to busy hating the gryffindors.
Raisia smiled up at Annabeth. "It's not that bad, really." she noted.mirando looked over her schedule agian and shrugged. she put her schedule in her bag.
Draco stuffed his schedule into his pocket and sat back down. yes,he had been standing up,. he drained his pumpkin juice, still fuming over the gryffindor thind.
Anna shrugged, frowning at the paper. "Not bad? POTIONS with SLYTHERINS." she sighed. Katie couldnt help a smile crept onto her face as she folded to paper and stuck it into her pocket.
"well,they don't really pay ravenclaws much attention." she said and stood just as the bell rang. "C'mon. herbology with gryffindor is first."Mirada sighed as the bell rang. at least they had transfiguration first, so she didn't need to worry about other houses. She stood and left the hall.
Draco left the hall, Crabbe and Goyle at his tail.
Anna laughed. "Yeah, ours isnt bad, but theres is, you can here their complaintents throughtout the hall." she rolled her eyes. Katie left after them, not meaning to, but ending up behind them, having the same class as him first.
Raisia laughed and left to herbologyMiranda found a spot in the classroom and sat down
Anna followed after him, in la la la land. Aleyx and Cedric headed off to Herbology.
Katie headed to Transfiguration and sat in the back in an empty table.
Raisia walked into the garden,staring around at all of the different plants.Miranda yawned boredly as Draco launched into another story about what he did over the summer.
Aleyx wandered around as well until class started and suddenly everyone hurried into the greenhouse. Professor Sprout stood waiting, smiling jovaily. "Morning class! Geart to have you back!"Katie leaned back in her seat as everyone filed in and sat, she ended up moving and sitting next to Draco. It was kind of by force, but she didnt really mind. She figured he would so tuned him out.
she ordered them into pairs, and she ended up getting paired with Aleyx.Miranda smiled as Katie passed. she was lucky, at least she wasn't stuck with Goyle.
"All right class!" Proffesor Mcgonagell barked. "Calm down.,now."
Draco glanced at katie, still rather annoyed about her owl still.
Aleyx grinned at her. "Hey again," he waved once. Katie glanced away from him, seeing his eyes flicker to her. She looked to Miranda and made a face that said something like 'sorry' but maybe 'ha, that sucks' was mixed in there somewhere.
Raisia smiled "hey."Miranda rolled her eyes and Goyle laughed stupidly"Do you not have a
brain or somethin?!" she spat at him.
Draco glared at the proffeser. The gryffindor house teacher,she
absolutely hted them.
Katie looked back to Proffesser MoGonigal, lisneing vauegly to her
directions before she let them work. She glanced at Draco, doubting
very highly he'd do much of anything.
Aleyx nodded to her. "Glad to be back?" he asked.
Raisia smiled."yes,very much so."
Draco was kinda forced to by her watchful eye,so he turned to her."so,
uh, what did she say we where doing agian?"
Aleyx nodded in agreement. "Ditto that. So, ready to start?" he asked.
(I don't know what the hell dey doin)
Katie rolled her eyes. "You just talk to your hearts content and I'll
do it." she said simply.
Raisia nodded and started to pot a plant.
Draco would have been happy to oblige, the profesor stepped in."miss
herendale, it would be very nice of you to do so,but mister malfoy
needs to do his work," she glared at him when she said that,causing
him to shrink into his seat.
Aleyx smiled and helped her with it. "So, favoirte subject?"
Katie tried not to roll her eyes at McGonigal, so waited until she
left them to their work. "Alright, well, sorry to say that you have to
at least do SOMETHING." she said to Draco.
She smiled."So far,Herbology." sge went to grap another plant and
tripped on a rock.....
He rolled his eyes."yes,and WHAT,exactly us that something?"
Aleyx grabbed her around the waist, pulling her up before she could
hit the ground.
Further down the table Cedric made a happy sound, "Razor sharp
reflexs!!"
Aleyx rolled his eyes, "Are you alright?" he asked, ignoring Cedric.
Katie pointed to the teacup sitting in front of him, "Teacup to Rat."
she said, not really caring for it herself.
Raisia blinked,her cheeks flushing red."y-yes. I-im really Sorry...."
she stuttered.
Draco looked at the table and saw two teacups on the table. After a
few failed attemtps, his teacup grew a tine little rat tail that waved
around frantically.
Aleyx shook his head and moved a piece if hair away from her face,
"It's alright, nothing to be sorry about." he smiled and let go of her.
Katie giggeled lightly, but didn't have much luck either. She could
only get it to grow fur! She sighed, glanceing at his again and
letting a small smile slip to her face.
Raisia was blushing furiosly, but nodded and went to grab another plant.
He glared at his teacup,smirked at katie's who had at least done a but
better. He picked his up by the tail and it started swirling loudly.
Aleyx smiled a little as he watched her, he leaned against the table.
He kind of lost his thought process and had no idea what he was
supposed to be doing.
Most of the class laughed, some leaving ut at a chuckle or two. Katie
couldn't help but laugh, watching him.
Raisia potted about five plants while he stood there, and she finally
waved a hand in his face."heloooo earth to Aleyx." she held up a plant
for him to take.
Draco grinned like he had planned for
It to happen and set it back down.
Aleyx blinked multilevel times before snapping out if it and blushing
slightly. "Er, sorry." he said taking the plant.
Katie smiled, "You look very satisfied." she conmented.
She rolled her eyes and waved his apology off.
Draco shrugged."It has a tail,that's close enough."
Aleyx couldn't help but blush, it crept into his cheeks like a ninja!
It was just there. He potted another plant, hopeing not to daze.
Katie laughed a little. "Well, mine has fur." she held hers up with a
little wave.
Raisia glanced at him as she potted another plant,and smirked at his
red face.
"Its still the same color of the cup." he pointed out. The cup was
white with a blue pattern.
Aleyx bit down on his lip, knowing she'd probably seen his flushed
face by now. He tried to ignore, failed epicly, and continued with the
problem.
Katie rolled her eyes. "Oh, come off it," she said. "We can't all be
pefect." she joked, having a very good feeling he wouldn't doubt his
perfectness.
Raisia couldn't help but laugh and handed him another plant.
"well," he said "that is true." he swept his hair back knowingly
Aleyx took it with a nod of thanks.
Katie pressed her lips together to hold back a laugh and just looked
away to her furry white cup.
Raisia smiled in welcome and turned to pot another plant.
Draco grinned as other slytherins 'admired' him.
"So...." he said, clearing his throat. "Um, have a favorite
proffesor?" he asked, trying to make conversation.
Katie rolled her eyes and flicked her wand at her teacup and smirked
as it turned into a rat.
She smiled." Well,not snape,that's for sure."
Draco blinked and now glared at her cup."Show off." he muttered ad
glared at his cup. After a few more tries,he manage to give it some
feeble little legs
Aleyx laughed. "Me either, how do the Slytherins live with him?"
Katie laughed softly. "Would you like help?" she asked, not bothering
to hide laughter.
"Because he absolutely loves them." she answered
Draco's face turned paler than usual."No,I can do t myself."
Aleyx rolled his eyes. "Ugh, slytherins." he made a face.
Katie rose her eyebrows slightly. "Alright, calm down." she leaned
back in her chair.
She laughed."Yes,I think te sane thing. Sadly I have care of magical
creatures with them."
Draco huffily managed to turn it into a rat, though it still had the
cup pattern on it
Aleyx made a face. "Oh, I'm sorry." he shook his head. "Aside from
potions it's the worst thing to have with them."
Katie pressed her lips togther as her eyes landed on the rat. "You
were close." she pointed out lightly.
"you have potions with them? That's gotta suck."
"Whatever." he muttered and flicked his rat off the desk.
Aleyx nodded. "I guess any class with them is terriable." he shrugged
a little. "But no like we hve a choice."
Katie tilted her head away from him, shutting her mouth.
She smiled at him."True. But at least we Don't have every class with
them..
Draco went back to talking,seeig as of how he had turned it into a rat.
"That... would be awful." he made a face. "How can you THINK of such a
thing?!" he said in teasing disgust.
Katie twirled a piece of hair around her finger, looking around the
room until her eyes landed on Miranda and Goyle. She tilted her head
with a sorrowful look at Miranda.
Raisia laughed and punched him playfully on the shoulder,"I don't know."
Miranda gave her a pleadin look and mouthed 'help me'
Aleyx laughed and rubbed his shoulder as if it had hurt. "Some arm ya'
got ther'." he grinned.
Katie laughed a little. 'Least you're not stuck with Mr.Perfect' she
mouthed back. His honestly didn't feel that way about him, he had an
ego, so what?
She rolled her eyes and shoved another plant into his hands.
Miranda grinned.'better than this idiot. At least malfoy is
entertaining."
Aleyx laughed and took it from her.
Katie shrugged a little, 'He's sort of cute' she pressed her fingers
against her heart.
"So,do you play quidditch?"
Miranda grinned. 'ohhhh,somebodys got a crush on malfoy'
Aleyx nodded. "Yeah, I'm a beater." he grinned. "You?"
Katie blushed, shaking her head quickly. She felt her chest squeeze,
her heart spiking up slightly, she lopes away, covering her blush.
She smiled back."Seeker."
Miranda giggled 'sure,you totally like him!'
Aleyx cocked and eyebrow. "Ah, so ya' got skills."
Katie didn't look at her, she was intent on NOT looking at her. She
felt her blush fade but only slightly.
She grinned "Yes,I guess you would say that."
Miranda rolled her eyes and went back to her tea cup,which had turned
grey and squeeked.
Aleyx looked sideways at her. "Quidditch game tomorow." he pointed
out, grinning, "Looks like we'll be facin' off."
Katie tapped her foot, lisening to everyone around her talk.
She grinned."And you'll be the loser. I got a firebolt over the summer."
Miranda poked Katie, a grin still on her face."face it." she
whispered."you like him."
"Ooh, nice." he grinned back. "But I won't be the one crying at the
end a' the day. It'll be yo'."
Katie jumped and snapped her head to look at Miranda. "I do not." she
said, trying to whisper as the blush returned.
She rolled her eyes" we'll see about that."
She giggled and winked at her.
Aleyx shrugged. "Eh, if we lose, which we won't, then Cedric 'ill be
the one cryin'."
Katie blushed again and turned away.
Raisia laughed "What about wood?"
Miranda giggled and went back to her rat.
"Ha, Oliver," he shrugged. "If we lose 'ell just make us wo'k 'arder."
he thought a while before making a face. "Oh.... wonderful."
Katie bit down on her lip, thinking.
Raisia laughed."Well,you better be looking forward to it."
Miranda turned her rat into a snake, then back agian.
Aleyx frowned, making a face. "Ugh, don' make me do tha'!" he
conplained.
Katie glanced at her, laughing a little.
She giggled and handed him another plant." I'll bet ten galleons that
we're going to win."
Miranda smiled and turned the rat loose,hoping it might scare the
professor.
"I'll bet ten galleons we're going to lose." he joked around.
Professor McGonigal screamed bloody murder and raises her skirts,
practically jumping onto her desk. Miss Capillarus!!"
"Y-yes?" she managed through fits of laughter.
She rolled her eyes."your on."
"Dicention!" she shreicked. Aleyx laughed. "I was kidding... possiably. Let's ust say, dont say a word to Wood." he said, planting a plant.
Miranda put on innocent eyes, but she was still grinning.She grabbed another few plants and potted them
"Tonight!" she said, trying to calm as she got down from her desk. Class was over!Aleyx sighed, class was finally over, he thought happily.
Raisia smiled. "Well, see ya later?"Miranda happen up from her desk. "Kay, see ya later Mcgonagalle." she left before the professor could add more
Draco left with a glance back at Katie,though no one other than her maybe saw it.
Aleyx nodded, gathering his stuff before leaving with a wave of his hand. Katie stood, feeling someones eyes on her brifly. She figured it was Miranda but when she looked it was... Draco. (^-^)
she waved back and met up with annebeth.Draco left to care of magical creatures.
Miranda left to care of magical creatures.
Anna smiled at her and skipped along side her to Care of Magical Creatures.Katie followed them outside and to Hagrid's hut.
"It's fine." he said,or lied rather. Stupid bird! he messed up my hair!
