You'll enjoy it after you read it, or for those people that don't have time to read the book.
I'm adding
, even though it technically comes out next year, I got an ARC, and I have to say, it was just amazing!Tai wrote: "My top favorites for 2011.....
[bookco..."It looks like we read a lot of the same stuff! You've got a good list going here, I'm going to have to add a bunch! =)
Why is everyone reading
? I want a copy! Excuse me while I throw a temper tantrum...But seriously, was it better than the first, Aneeqah?
Sashana wrote: "Why is everyone reading

Excuse me while I throw a temper tantrum...But seriously, was it better than the first, Aneeqah?"It's available on NetGalley, and lots of people are requesting it =) I loved it in a different way than I loved Unearthly. I don't know if I liked it better than Unearthly, but it definitely met my expectations!

It's worth waiting for. =) Definitely different than Unearthly, but I still adored it!

Sashana, I read Hallowed and reviewed it. I gave it 5 roses. You can view my review on Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Kellyflower, the DTB version has some beautiful drawings by Jim kay. The ebook doesn't have. I hope to get my hands on the DTB version soon.Kellyflower wrote: "Nicola wrote: "One book stands out among the 201 I read: A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness"

Thanks Vi. I'm waiting for the book from the library, but people are just not bringing it back! This may be one I will have to purchase.
I've decided to purchase it anyway. The book was one of my favorite of the year. And the glimpses I've had of the drawings was superb. In the New Year, surely.

Also, 1 page in an ebook can be really long. I've had ebooks that were half the length of the real book- they took 8-10 page turns in the ebook to move a page.

A little late posting, but my favorite books were#1
and now, in no particular order...
I also just realized that I had NO five start books for 2011. However, in 2010 I had three and that is from being a GR member for only three months. No wonder I only read 66 books this year. I didn't looove any of them! Lol.
Year 2011 was a great book year. The year I found the Hunger Games and a series of great horror books. But my absolute favorite of the year:
No way around it, A Song of Ice and Fire is gonna change your life.
