message 54: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments meh today isnt so bad one of my pals from back home rang last night to say she was pregnant. So that upset me stupidly for some reason and finding it difficult to pick myself up again but i'll get over it eventually. She's only married 6 months and is now 3 months pregnant.

message 55: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments When your own mind is on it, it makes someone else's good news a bit bitter-sweet doesn't it? Never mind flower, you'll be up six times a night in the not too distant future, wondering why you ever thought this was a good idea.

message 56: by Jud (new)

message 61: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I just wanted to stop in and say hi cause I love your book but I cant go read it cause everyone else has buggered off for lunch and left me on my own. I need to get my Big W fix somehow.

Oh its freezing with the windy open

message 62: by Cornelius (new)

Cornelius Harker | 830 comments Hi Jud. How dare they leave you on your own. Big W would not be impressed.

message 63: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I just had a half hour fix of Big W feeling much better now, still got an hour of break to take woop woop!

message 64: by Cornelius (new)

Cornelius Harker | 830 comments See, things aren't so bad after all. I hope that window has been closed.

message 65: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I did close it but then it got too hot again so i opened it again. the trials and tribulations of working in an office connected to a data centre

message 66: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I think that is going to be my first novel

message 67: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I have to have a Big W fix every day - or I go all shaky. Some suggest it's the red wine. But it isn't.

message 68: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments last i heard red wine was good for you so couldnt possibly be that. I'm off to read some more

message 69: by Philip (sarah) (new)

Philip (sarah) Willis | 4630 comments 12% in.Must learn how to mark spoilers.

message 70: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments just like this < spoiler > at the start of the sentence and then spoiler > at the end. only leave out the spaces.

If you hit the link (some html is ok) above the text box that tells you how

message 71: by Philip (sarah) (new)

Philip (sarah) Willis | 4630 comments Thanks Jud.I am just such a dinosaur when it comes to computers,it amazes me how I manage to even post on here.

message 72: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments tell me about it. I work in IT and I am useless when it comes to technology.

At least you succeeded with the spoilers on your first try, Sarah. Take a look at my efforts on the previous page.

message 77: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments aw, and there was me thinking you were just being funny Corny!

message 78: by Cornelius (new)

Cornelius Harker | 830 comments Nope, that was actually me being extremely stupid, Jud.

I can be so immature at times Cornelius.:@0

message 81: by Philip (sarah) (new)

Philip (sarah) Willis | 4630 comments 39% in and absorbed in my own thoughts.A few jaw dropping moments! I have given WttW the honour of their own journal,I have so many notes and quotes and technology does not do them justice.

message 82: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I FINISHED!!!! Not quite as gruesome as the first but possibly more interesting. Loved it roll on book 3 *hint hint*

message 83: by Philip (sarah) (new)

Philip (sarah) Willis | 4630 comments Yay Jud!

message 84: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments What an annoying (in a good way) ending though!!! The story is building and building I could feel the tension/excitement in my stomach, finally at the climax of everything that the book had been building up to ... To be continued...

You are the master of suspense Mr Cornelius! I think, in fact I believe I do love you Mr Cornelius, I hope Big W isn't jealous but then he has Ignite.

message 85: by Cornelius (last edited Nov 26, 2011 07:58AM) (new)

Cornelius Harker | 830 comments I'm truly honoured, Sarah, that you have decided to start a journal, and I'm really pleased that you're enjoying Book Two so far.

Jud: Master of suspense; I like that very much. Regarding the rest of your message, I don't think The Wanderer will be too jealous (he says whilst blushing and fumbling with his shirt collar) . As you state, he has Kath with whom he can air his thoughts and grievances. I have a feeling she'd soon put him in his place, though.

Edit: I'm glad you enjoyed Book Two, Jud.

message 86: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments "I have a feeling she'd soon put him in his place, though."

I can but try!

message 87: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments So is it just me that thinks that the Rickard/horse/Wanderer bit is supremely funny?
Maybe I really am wierd?

message 88: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments you're just weird...

(view spoiler)

message 89: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I know I am Jud. (view spoiler)

I wonder if anyone who has read and enjoyed this book would find it possible to leave an Amazon review? It does help our Indie authors so much and I always feel I owe them when I've had a really good experience with a book. If you can't bring yourself to do reviews, not to worry. The knowledge that you have enjoyed it is really great.

message 90: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments ha! I just did Ignite! Was waiting till I got back into work to do it.

Just left a review on Goodreads, amazon.co.uk and .com :o)

message 91: by Maureen (Mews) (new)

Maureen (Mews) (mews) | 711 comments I'll leave a review when I am finished ;-)

Only at 39% right now, but really enjoying it as much (if not maybe even slightly more, if that's possible, than Book 1).

message 92: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments You're a star Jud!
Maureen, I think I liked it more but that's because I felt I knew the Wanderer better. Rickard helps too! He's such a contrast - not only with W but at times, with himself!

message 93: by Kath (last edited Nov 28, 2011 03:29AM) (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments That review's fantastic Jud! Although I suspect an author of this quality doesn't wake up one morning and decide to become an author. It must be seething about in his corpuscles from conception.

message 94: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments YAY :o)

I'm trying to improve on my reviews! I think I am getting there.

The waking up one morning is symbolic of that moment where you discover the creature who lives inside you.

message 95: by Kath (last edited Nov 28, 2011 04:43AM) (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Ah, so an author lives inside Cornelius Harker?
I might have to think about that. (view spoiler)

Edit to hide potential spoiler!

message 96: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments 8ft 10. It got bullied by the other monsters

message 97: by Cornelius (new)

Cornelius Harker | 830 comments Thank you in advance for the review, Maureen.

Jud: I just read your review. To say I'm really pleased with it would be a colossal understatement. Thank you so much.

message 98: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments :o) least I can do Mr Cornelius

message 99: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I'm now re-reading the part where Rickard tells W about his early life. 81%. That is so sad. I really feel for the boy (Don't call me boy!)

message 100: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Aw that bit was heartbreaking
