I guess I have really mixed up taste in music. "If I Die Young" is fabulous. It brings tears to my eyes. Taylor Swift has a couple of songs I like but they play her SO much here on the radio that I've been boycotting her music lately.
I like Flyleaf and Paramore. Coldplay and Linkin Park are some others mentioned that I like.

Nope, the guys who sing the big bang theory song are.... the Barenaked Ladies, they're Canadian (like me).

I love The Kooks:) Runaway is my favorite song from that album.
I listen to The Last Kiss soundtrack over and over. Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto and Human Again by Inrid Michaelson are all on repeat. Oh, and how could I ever forget Cake's Showroom of Compassion.
