% of book read

When entering a new book, how do you set it up that updates will show in %? For example, I just put on my "Currently Reading" list an ebook. When I update, I have to enter the % I've read. But on some other ebooks, I've had to enter a page number. I noticed that the book I'm currently reading DOES have a page count entered, but the update is for %, not for page number. I actually prefer that but I want to know how to do it for any future entires I might add.

For ebook and Kindle editions it should be automatic when you go to do an status update. If you have an ebook or kindle book that does not show the % sign then you need to click on the word page in the status update window and that will change it to %.

There is nothing that the Librarians do to set this up on the book its self.
