So where are you currently in the series? Do you have the next book? When should we start the next book of the series?

I've read up to book 8. I'll probably read straight through the whole series as soon as I get a chance.

I'm going to try to get books 2 and 3. I think we should try to attempt reading two next month.

I'm still on page 70 of Ill Wind. Haven't had the time which is why I didn't do the buddy read.

I don't have the second one, but I am sure the library does. I will have to check. Hopefully I can participate in that one.

The library just got my copy of the second book in today. I'll try to pick it up tonight. When should we start the second book?

Ideally I'd like to start the second week of December because that's when I finish school. Is that too far away?

Where is everyone in this series? I have no problem reading more than one book per month to get up to speed with another group who's reading this one as well.

I've read till the 3rd book.

Yea I suck at reading this month. Also, started a new job so couldn't do computer stuff when training. Well not new job...new site. But yea anyways...should be more involved again now.

Anyone can join and we'd be glad to have you, Aimie. We finished book 1 and 2 but we haven't set an official start date for book 3 yet.

I'll leave the start date of the 3rd book up to Lisarenee. I couldn't bring myself to finish the second book so I think I'm pulling out of this series all together :(

I will start reading the next book today and start posting questions tomorrow. We're doing this buddy read style so even if you don't read a book when everyone else does you should still be able to participate. Everything is done in a sequence. The strangest thing about this series is so far all the books only have 3 or so chapters. Book 2, Heat Stroke, had a chapter that was 175 pages long so the questions are geared so far for each chapter.

I am too, Jex. For me, I think the long chapters have something to do with it. I tend to read faster, longer, and stay more interested when the chapters are shorter. I always think "Oh, I can read one more chapter!" or "I have to know what happens next. One more chapter!"

I didn't feel it so much with this series. I need to pick it back up again though.

I've just gotten sidetracked with other things in life. Haven't been reading all that much lately. Sad really.

I know what you mean. Same here. I barely read 60 books in 2011. That's terrible! Here's to hoping for more reading time in 2012!

Finished and re-read all 9 books plus Blue Crush and Shiny, Weather Warden short stories with David and Jo's rare moment of peace published on The Mammoth Book of Paranormal and Chicks Kick Butt.

Started reading book 1 of this series early March and thought I would carry on to catch up to everyone else. Couldn't stop reading though, so I have now finished all 9 books. They were great! Thanks to the group for introducing me to this series.

I am reading this month. I really love this series. Last month I read which is a spinoff series. It was very good as well. It picks up later in the Weather Warden series, so that was kind of interesting.
