I am ready for transfiguration! cheered Kate.

During today's lesson, we will be transfiguring a match into a needle. If you have any questions, please ask.

After you've read the chapter, wave your wand and say, "Fereverto" very clearly. Keep trying until you've transformed the match into the needle.

Kate looked at the book for 10 min and suddennly she spelled "Fer ,fer ,verto!" nothing happened. And then with all her pride she cried again "Fereverto!" the mat ch turned into a needle. "That was hard" she said.

The period was over and Kate moved to the next class.

Alexandra stepped excitedly into the room. She had her long hair in a ponytail, and it bounced when she walked.

Brian came in right behind her, head down. He was tired. That was obvious, but not much else was.

Iris entered as well and saw sage in the corner and approached the seat next to her. "This seat taken?" She ask politely with a kind smile.

Scott walks in and sits in a seat relatively close to the door.

Amy walks in and barely glances at Scott as she takes a seat as far away from him as possible.

Amber walked in behind Gracie taking a spot next to her.

"Herbology Exam? WHY?" cries Amy to Amber.

Emma sat in one of the desks at the far back of the room, neatly stacking her pile of textbooks.

Scott puls his wand out sending a spell flying at emma's textbooks turning them all upside down. He begins to laugh

Emma glared at Scott in annoyance before rearranging her textbooks properly.

Alexis and Daniel entered the classroom, chatting about some random topic.

Maria walked into the classroom glad that wasn't late as usual. "Is anyone sitting here?" She asked Emma pointing to a seat beside her.

"Nope," Emma replied with a smile.

"Alright" Maria said setting her stuff on the desk in front of her. "What are we doing today, Do you know?" She asked Emma.

"I think we're transforming a quill into a needle," Emma said, sifting through her bag with one. "I hope we can transform them back at the end if class because this is my last quill," she said, setting it down on the desk. "Do you want to try first?"

"sure" Maria repeated the spell and frowned when it turned into a small very sharp silver quill. "Maybe you should try"

Amelia briskly sprinted into class and found her seat. "Sorry professor, I just got here today, and the castle is a bit confusing."

"Okay," Emma said, giving her wand a flick and transforming the quill into a needle covered with the fine feathers from the original quill. Emma picked it up and said,"Yours at least resembled something recognizable."

Maria laughed and glanced at Amelia trying not to seem rude "Do you know who that is? She must be new."

Amelia looked at her. "My name is Amelia Lestrange." She said in a soft voice.

Maria jumped she hadn't realized how loud she had been "Oh, my name is Maria Brown. Nice to meet you."

She smiled. "Hello Maria Brown."

Maria smiled politly "What house are you in?"

"Slytherin... A lot of people think it's because I'm destined for nothing but evil, but that just really makes me sad..." She looked down.

Maria nodded slowly "Oh, well i'm sorry people think that." she said letting her gaurd down a little

Amy walked in to the transfiguration cclassroom and chose a seat next to Maria.

"Hufflepuff." Maria answered promptly. She turned to Amy "Hello Amy, how are you?"

Amelia, unbeknowable to them, smirked and rolled her eyes before turning back to her book.

"Good, I guess." she answered Maria.

Tiffla ran in, sitting in the back

Seth walked in silently,nodded to Amelia,hugged Maria and sat in the back next to Tiffla.
