Potions Class

(hi everyone, I would like to roleplay as Luna Lovegood. Would it be ok if I jump right in as a new student?)

[Ella]

Ash and Xander entered, carrying many books

[Ella]

Sorrow entered, taking her seat.

[Lexi]

Lizzy hurried in. "You are one minute late." Professor snape said in a sharp and curt voice. "20 points from gryffindor." lizzy groaned. She was just one teeny minute late! "Another sound from you and it will be another 20 points." Snape turned his back towards the students and strutted back to the front.

[Ella]

Xander looked for his essay that was due. Uh-oh. He didn't have it.....


Sorrow did a spell under her breath, turning a pencil into snake.

[Swaroop, Head Boy]

Swaroop rushed into the class and quickly found his favourite seat before Snape could understand whats going in.Snape gave a long stare at Swaroop and Swaroop replied him with a wide smile.'Next time you will be out of my class !' Snape shouted and walked back to his board.

[Ginny]

"Accio ink pot!" Ginny whispered. She had forgotten to bring her essay so she quickly wrote what she had memorized and passed it up to Snape. "Miss Weasley 30 points will be deducted from your house, Gryffindor for not completing your homework" said Snape. There were groans. " twenty points deducted for groaning" he added.

[Ella]

"Yeah." Xander whispered. Actually, it was sitting half-done on his bed. Hearing Ginny, he also whispered "Accio essay." A half-finished essay was better than none...

[Swaroop, Head Boy]

'And here I am attending this class after ages ! Hope he doesn't ask any essay from me' Swaroop whispered and leaned low on his seat to avoid Snape's eyes.

[Ginny]

"Swaroop! Snape is calling you!" Ginny whispered urgently. "Swaroop, I hope you can catch up with your work. If you don't understand, please ask either Miss Weasley or Xander. Thank you" Snape told Swaroop.

[Ginny]

"Ash! Wanna go shopping?" Ginny whispered to her politely.

[Ginny]

"Today!?"Ginny replied. "Silence!" Snape growled.

[Ella]

Xander turned in his essay. "What is this? Too short, 20 points from Ravenclaw!" Snape announced. Sorrow turned in hers, then went back to doodling in her notebook. In the doodle, Sorrow was surronded by her parents and Flame and everybody wanted to be closest to her. Unfortunatley, that didn't happen. Sorrow was quiet, soft, and an individual. No one wanted to be her friend, and her parents.....
Sorrow wiped away a tear quickly.

[Swaroop, Head Boy]

'Wow! Since when did Snape become so polite towards me ?!' Swaroop thought and remembered all the pranks he had done to make Snape mad at him in the past.

[Ginny]

"That's because you are his top student for his so called 'test' !" Ginny replied with a broad smile.

[Lexi]

A slytherin student waved his essay about in the air. "I'm sorry professor snape, but I haven't finished it yet."
Professor snape turned to him and took the paper out f his hand. "Don't worry about it." He turned back to the rest of the class. "20 points to slytherin for the honesty." All the slytherin students cheered.

[Swaroop, Head Boy]

'Wow! I never imagined that I would end up in top after all my efforts to screw myself ' Swaroop said to Ginny and smiled. 'Yes Honesty is appreciated, provided it comes from Slytherin' Swaroop added and hoped that Snape didn't hear his wordsm

[Ginny]

" I agree with you." Ginny replied with a small smile.

[Ella]

Xander and Sorrow groaned.

[Lexi]

" can anyone, tell me what this" Professor Snape tapped on the board. Ginny's hand shot up in the air. "E-xecpt for you. Ms granger. Su-ch a show off." Snape dragged the words out slowly and curtly.

[Ella]

Sorrow looked at the board. "Uhhhhh....."

[Swaroop, Head Boy]

'Yes I know the answer.Umm.. Its a blackboard!' Swaroop answered Snape and the whole class burst out in laughter. Snape had a furious face and Swaroop didn't dare to look into his eyes.

[Swaroop, Head Boy]

Swaroop made a funny face and pretended as if he didn't know why everyone was laughing.

[Ginny]

"Silence!" Snape growled. "Class is dismissed."
" Good one Swaroop, the look on Snape's face was priceless. He even dismissed us ten minutes earlier." Ginny exclaimed and chuckled.

[Swaroop, Head Boy]

'Haha, glad he wasn't impressed.I feel we should laugh often, there's nothing so serious in this world to keep yourself occupied' Swaroop said to Ginny.

[Ginny]

Ginny nodded and smiled

[Ella]

Xander swept up his things, and raced along after Ash, laughing.

[Ella]

Sorrow gathered her things with no hurry, as she simply had nowhere to go. She walked out of the classroom, slowly, but briskly.
