summer scampered in and sat as far away from sage as she could

Summer nodded and turned to the front of the class looking for instruction from the teacher

Emma walked into charms class, he'd bag in hand. She had charms with the small, kind wizard, Professor Flitwick, who didn't take any nonsense from troublemakers. The students never feared Professor Flitwick though, as he only can up to most students' waists, and couldn't even see over the top of his desk without standing on a stack of books. The room was filled with light and an assortment of odd items, used for instruction.

Emma slumped in a seat toward the back of the class. She was exhausted as she had pulled an all-nighter to complete her potions essay.

James entered the room, and walked to the back seats, giving a few girls a stunning smile. He sat down and pulled some books out of his dark grey bag, and sat them down. He took his wand out and grabbed a small heart locket out of his bag.
After reading for a minute, he quietly murmured a spell, and sparks flew out of his wand to hit the locket.
A few minutes later the metal had cooled, and he picked it up, grinning at his accomplishment.

Emma had noticed James as he sat down and watched curiously as he broke open the locket.

He smiled, meeting her gaze and stood up, smoothing his shirt. "Ma'am." he said with a think Brittish accent, and a smirk, holding out the beautiful locket for her.

"Hi, I'm Emma," she said, extending her hand in his direction.

"James, 'tis, ma'am." He smiled taking her hand and kissing it. He held the locket down, when she didn't take it and crossed the room to his seat again, still smiling at her.

Emma tore her eyes away from James as the Professor Flitwick began rambling about the charm, Wingardium Leviosa.

Class went by silently, and James shoved his notes, and books back into his bag as he stood. He threw his hood over his black hair, and walked out of the room, quickly glancing at Emma, but looking away before she caught his gaze.
He left the room.

[Naomi]

Naomi walked in and marched straight up to Proffessor Flitwick's desk. "Sorry I was late, proffessor. I had to clean up in Herbology. Here's a note from Proffessor Sprout," she said, smiling.

"It's quite all right, Miss Lin," Proffessor Flitwick said. "Just find a desk and start practicing."

Naomi smiled and sat in the seat nearest to her. "There are benifets of being the teacher's favorite," she thought, and started practicing.

Emma glanced around the room. So far, she was the only person to have successfully levitated her feather. She yawned and leaned back in her chair, letting the feather slowly drift back down to the desk.

Iris lazily cast her spell and levitated the feather easily.Charms was always a class she excelled in.

"Nice job," Emma called across the room, watching as Iris' feather drifted slowly through the air.

"Sorry I'm late!!!!" called Gracie as she rushed through the door. She was at her desk in a matter of seconds.

Amber bustled in, mumbling her apology.

Emma let her feather drift back down on her desk.

Pro. Brown bustled into the classroom her dark hair flying "Sorry im late class" she said with a cheerful smile.

Amber smiled.

"Today we will be reviewing the summoning charm 'Accio'" Pro. Brown said while summoning cushions out of a closet"If you would please get into groups of two and practice by using the spell on these pillows and cushions"

Amber looked around for a partner.

"Amber, do you want to be partners?" Emma asked.

Iris rushed over to the only available partner.

Svetlana walked in awkwardly and silently sat down in the way back

Iris sends a big polite smile to Svetlana and hopes it makes her a little more confident.

Iris smiles politely and replies to amy,

"Great. Where should start?" She says happily.

Summer's eyes widened and she stiffened

Misty rushes in, out of breath. She slips into the nearest available seat as silently as possible. Hoping against hope that Professer Brown doesn't notice her tardiness.

Amy's shoulders slump.

Pro. Brown face softened a bit "Just don't let it happen again Misty. Today we are reviewing the 'Accio' charm. You may be my partner." she said stepping over to a pile of cushions. "The goal is to summon one of these pillows from across the room, do you think you coud do that?"

Misty smiled, relieved, then nodded, "I think so." She pulled out her wand and took a deep breath. "Accio!" The cushion wobbled a little and moved a meter in Misty's direction, but no more.

"Here try it like this" Pro. Brown said waving her wand in a small arc and said "Accio!" with a strong,clear voice. And nodded with satisfaction as the pillow came flying into the basket by her feet.

Misty waved her wand in an almost perfect imitation of Professer Brown and in a clear, confident voice said "Accio!" Another pillow flew at them but this time it wasn't as controlled as the Professer's. Misty panicked and ducked. The cushion flew right over her head and straight into Professer Brown's. The soft missile hit and tumbled into the basket at their feet. "Oh! I'm so sorry Professer! Are you all right?" Misty said, her face flushed with embarrassment.

Svetlana watched, curious. She scribbled down some notes
