Yeah, I guess the covers on top thing could work. But in the book it said he "muttered her name like a Russian prayer". Could you imagine seeing that in a graphic novel?
It'd be like covers over them and then just like in the talking bubbles or whatever, "Rosa. Rosa. Rosa." Yeah, that would be a little creepy... not to mention awkward O.o

we have a book in our library that sits at the borrowing desk called "I wish the library would buy" and we can write all these books we want in it. So that's what I do all the time! :)
