Ellen Maze (ellenmaze) | 3 comments Hello, fellow book junkies! I am happy to be here.

Readers email me often to tell me how shocked, amazed, and entertained they are by this novel. Please feel free to ask anything at all, and I will check back here often to answer!

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for reading my "baby"!

Steven (tbones) | 592 comments The word is out and we should have people popping in soon Ellen.
Even though I am still reading the book, I still wonder if the creature in the beginning was actually a vampire that created Mark or if it was something more like the devil himself? The opening was an extremely visual scene and the way it played out, that was the feel I got from it.

Ellen Maze (ellenmaze) | 3 comments [[[SPOILER ALERT]]]

Thanks, Steven. Yes, as you read along, that creature is better described, and it is actually a demon manifest as a vampire -- the Old School kind, monstrous and evil. It is also evident as you read along that although this miscreant was able to change the priest to some extent, he didn't own him completely...

Keep reading, my friend and thank you for the observation!

Ellen Maze (ellenmaze) | 3 comments The Corescu Chronicles is a story in four parts/installments. After The Judging: The Corescu Chronicles Book One comes Damascus Road: The Corescu Chronicles Book Two. Next to be released from Little Roni Publishers (my new pub) is "Tree Of Life," (Spring 2012), to be concluded in Book Four, "Anathema," some time around Dec. 2012.

The theme of the horse's eye on the covers will continue for all four books, using the colors of the 4 horses of the Apocalypse as reference. Why horses? The reason is evident from the prologue -- horse imagery plays a big role in the subconscious of the main players, and in the real life of protag Hope Brannen.
