Day 24. Situation is growing worse. My captors continue to find new and horrific ways to torture me. When not working, Agent Scarlet spends her day examining fabric swatches for her bridesmaid dresses and going on about how in love she is. This usually causes Agent Boring Borscht to regale us with stories of Russian weddings that are even more boring than his usual ones. My attempts to escape have been thwarted thus far. Same here. But the last chapter of the book made me so mad, I wanted to punch Zoe and her dad. Zoe listens to her dad, who by the way needs to be murdered.
Totally agree I wanted to slap Zoy and Kill the sage fater so bad.
Okay, so I know this thread isn't TFH, just Adrian, but I just have to say this...Zoe isn't really to blame. All her life she has been taught to fear and despise the vampires as they are unnatural creatures. And honestly, if we hadn't read all of this about friendly vamps, how many humans would really snuggle up with one? So, Zoe did the right thing in HER perspective. She doesn't know the truth about re-education. Her dad and all of the other Alchemists brainwash potential Alchemists, so what Zoe did is more of an accident than intentional. Zoe loves her sister. Mr. Sage, on the other hand....
