Derek smile grew as he looked up at her. "I love you so much." He stroked her cheek with his thumb.
Annie giggled and kissed his head teasingly.Lucia leaned into him.

He smiled and pecked her on the lips.
Annie thought for a moment,"Be with you."She smiled her fangs peeking out from behind her pink lips.Lucia kissed him gently then stood up and held her hand out to him,"Come with me."She smiled softly her own fangs peeking out behind red lips.

Derek raised a brow and smiled, taking her hand.
Annie giggled watching her mate play with her curls between his thumb and forefinger.Lucia grasped his hand and then they walked out to the beach the salty sea air spraying them ever so often.

Derek shielded his eyes until they adjusted to the light. "Where are we going Lu?" He smiled.
Annie opened her eyes and they were a soft gold as she caressed his face with her thumbs gently as their foreheads rested against each other,living in bliss from his words,"I love you as well my mate."Lucia looked to him her hair fluffing in the soft breeze,"Some place my mother took me when I had to hear something important."She told him holding his hand her tattoo on her back sparkling in the light.

Derek smiled. "Okay."
"Tell me how I am, I can't look in a mirror."Annie said staring back at him enjoying time with him was what made her most happy.Lucia looked ahead he would not like what she was going to tell him and it made her ache.

Derek frowned slightly, feeling Lucia's emotions hitting him. He continued to follow her as he held her hand.
Annie smiled,"Thank you."She smiled again and kissed forehead.Lucia clutched her hand to her chest as they stopped under a cherry blossom tree,"You can sense my uneasiness cant you."She asked.

Derek nodded. "What's wrong Lu?" He touched her cheek lightly.
Annie held tight to him as they ventured to the living room where the couch sat,but sensed something wrong with her twin.Lucia stepped back holding herself,"My family is cursed, if I give birth to a girl I may not survive, a boy I will live but if twin girls it is a much worse fate,one of each I will be weak and unstable you saw what happened when I gained my tattoos how much pain I was in it will be twice as worse."She said to him her eyes showing her pain.

Derek looked at her. "Lu..." He sighed softly and then looked away from her. "So you're telling me that if you have a girl, you die? Twin girls you could die as well?" He ran a hand through his hair, not wanting to believe this, not wanting to believe that he could loose the love of his life.
"Something is wrong,connection between me and Lu is crackling and hurting."Annie said gripping his shirt,"She just told him our family curse."Lucia nodded,"Our mother only lived a few years after we were born,my father found a way to suppress it but not forever."She told him feeling his emotions flood into her,"I should have told you this sooner,I'm sorry,you have suffered so much with me over the past few years and I just keep making it worse."She spoke.

Derek didn't say anything. "If I would have known, we would not be having this child." He looked at her. "Lu I can't loose you." He was hurt as he looked at her. He turned away from her, looking at trees.
"If were birth girls we die and they live."Annie said speaking low.Lucia bit her lip hard causing it to bleed,"The other problem is I don't know what we are having or how many."She said looking at his back,his shoulders were shaking and so was his voice,"And I don't want to be without you, you are the reason I get up every day."

Derek could feel the tears rolling down his cheeks. He couldn't bare to look at Lu as he heard what she said.
Annie felt Lu's pain radiate in her body she felt horrible telling her lover this, finally when her life was worth living she had to suffer more,"Its not fair."Lucia felt a bridge between them break and crack, she hated this and abortion was not an option it would kill them both,"I make you suffer."

Derek looked at her. "You don't." He said in a whisper. He went over to her, hugging her tightly. "I can't believe this Lu...This is only a nightmare I'm having. It can't be real."
Annie sat down,putting her face in her hands crying softly,"Lucia has so much pain her life while I have none."Lucia felt pain ten times as worse as his as he hugged her she gripped his shirt shaking,"Yes I do and this is real that's why I hate this!"She cries.

Derek held her to him as she cried. "I love you Lu." He said softly, not knowing what else to say.
Annie shock as she sobbed by her mate that would never suffer like Derek would.Lucia stood with him shaking harder,"I don't want to lose you I don't want this fate."
Mod
Derek ran a hand through her hair. "We'll figure something out Lu. I can't be without you." He kissed her head.
Annie gripped his shirt tightly as he soothed her.Lucia nodded but stayed as she was.

Derek sighed softly, not what the future held for them anymore. He held Lucia tightly to him and then kissed her head again. "Lets go.." He grabbbed her hand gently and walked them back toward the house.
Annie cuddled into his chest feeling safe and loved as he kissed her neck and rubbed her back like her mother did to get her to sleep.Lucia leaned into his lips and stayed close as they walked up the cobblestone path to the house.

Derek sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He held her to him as they walked.
Annie was fast asleep,Jagers soothing touch and words had calmed her down to a restful extent.Lucia was silent as they walked,not knowing what to say after her little dark secret.

Derek opened the door to the house, seeing Jager and Annie.
Annie snuggled closer once she felt him curl up with her,she had a nice fluffy blanket bathed in orange settle on them.Lucia looked up and saw Annie she had tear stains on her face,their bond meant she felt all her pain as well as her thoughts.

Derek smiled slightly at the sight. He closed the door behind them and walked quietly to their room with Lucia.
Annie rolled so she was chest to chest with Jager snuggled right under his chin for extra closeness which made her happy even if she hurt.Lucia followed close to her future husband,once they closed the bedroom doors she began to cry,"I'm..I'm sorry..."She sobbed her face in her hands.

Derek looked at her. "Lu...don't be okay." He went to her, pulling her into his arms.
Annie had snuggled right under his chin happy and content to just stay like they were for even a few days,that is how comfortable she felt with him and happy that she had finally found someone.Lucia couldn't help but cry,how she had hurt him so much how she had almost slept with her step-brother,then going and sleeping with Jackson and now telling him if they have a girl she'll die.She gripped his shirt and sobbed into his chest.

Derek held her tightly, feeling all her emotions hitting him like a brick to the face. He winced slightly and held her. "Its okay Lu."
Annie moaned in her sleep before rolling to the other side her dress riding up and her hair covering her face,she slept happily gripping Jagers hand.Lucia looked up at him,"How will it be ok,I have hurt you so much and its not fair I dump all my problems on you."She whimpered.

Derek kissed her lips softly. "I can handle this. "I love you more than anything Lu, thats what keep me going." He looked down at her. "Their our problems."
Annie slept happily.Lucia was staring at him in awe,"You are so strong to handle this."She whispered.

Derek smiled slightly. "I have to be Lu..."
Annie giggled."I know."Lucia mused.
Mod
He kissed her nose. "We'll get through this Lu. We always do."
"What?"Annie teased.Lucia giggled for once after he kissed her nose.

Derek smiled, hearing her giggle. "I love you." He said softly as he leaned his forehead against hers.
"Just a little bit."Annie giggled.Lucia looked into his eyes as their foreheads rested against each other,"And I love you."

Derek kissed her nose again and grinned. "I know."
Annie giggled and kissed his cheek.Lucia giggled again.

"Don't worry okay?" He smiled and hugged her to him.
Lucia nodded,"Very."
