Derek smiled and watched her. When the blanket was ready, he laid down. Half his body on the blanket and the other half on grass.
Lucia sat crossed legged across from him.
He smiled and looked at her.
Lucia smiled softly looking at him,"I remember when we first came here."
He smiled and nodded. "We had great sex by the stream."
He smiled and kissed her red cheeks.
He chuckled and laid back down on the blanket.
Lucia enjoyed the warm breeze and singing birds.
He laid his held into her lap and looked up at her and then into the clear blue sky.
Lucia looked down at him smiling,she smoothed his dark hair off his forehead,she loved him so much that it hurt sometimes.
He smiled feeling her hands in his hair. "That feels great." He grinned.
Lucia smiled down at him weaving her slender fingers through his hair lightly,"I know,you do it to me all the time I thought I would return the favor."
Derek grinned and caught her hand, kissing her wrist where her vein ran. "Thank you." He closed his eyes and relearned her hand.
Lucia smiled down at him as he kissed her wrist,the vein shown very easily through her pale skin,"Of course."She smiled as he let go,she continued to weave and brush his hair.
His smile turned into a grinned as she continued. He loved how his felt and understood why she did.
Lucia watched him change into a brighter smile as she played gently with his hair,she soon slipped a necklace over his head with a the initial D on it carved in the back said Love Lu.
Derek opened his eyes and looked down at his neckline. "What's this?" He asked with a smile and looked at the necklace, the to Lu.
"My gift to you,I was thinking of making you a cuff but this was better."Lucia said smiling.
Derek grinned down at the necklace. "I have nothing to give you in return, I can't accept this Lu." He looked at her with a soft smile.
Lucia shook her head,"I don't want anything,your love and happiness is enough."
Derek smiled and kissed her lips softly.
Lucia bent down and kissed him back.
He cupped her face with his hands and kissed her.
Lucia kissed him gently closing her eyes.
He sat up slowly and pulled her closer to him, holding her in his arms somewhat.
Luci sat next to him as he sat up and pulled her into his arms.
He smiled slightly against her lips and hesitated.
Lucia pulled back and looked at him.
He looked at her with a small smile. "Sorry." He said softly.
He nodded slightly and glanced away from her.
Lucia looked at him,he still felt that pain.
He sighed softly and looked over at the stream.
"I know you still hurt."Lucia said.
"I just... When I kiss you, I see you and Him." Derek said softly.
Lucia looked away,"I wish I could take it all back."She said.
He sighed softly and looked at her. "I'm not trying to make you feel bad Lu..." He trailed off and kissed her.
Lucia listened to him but kissed him back when he kissed her.
He cupped her face with his hands again and kissed her slowly.
Lucia closed her eyes as they kissed,her hands came and gripped his shoulders.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her deeply.
Lucia felt his hold on her tighten as they kissed.
Lucia felt his smile and couldnt help but smile too.
Derek pulled away his face inches from hers. Catching his breath he smile at her.
