Lucia licked her lips,her fangs coming out in enjoyment,"Try mine,I added something."She said handing it to him.

He smiled and sipped the drink. "Mhmmm, it is good. What is it?" He asked handing it back.
Lucia took her glass back,"I added berries."She smiled.
He smiled and nodded. "Nice add."
"Thought so,it needed a little bite to it."Lola giggled.
Derek grinned. "Yeah."
Lola laughed at her pun,"Indeed."
He smiled hearing her laugh.
Lola smirked at him,"Its good to see you smile."
His smile turned into a grin. "I'm happy when I'm with you Lu, you know that."
He chuckled and looked at her.
Lucia had an idea,"Lets go have a pinic for lunch."She smiled.
He nodded and smiled at her. "That's sounds like a great idea." He walked over to her and kissed her forehead.
Lucia jumped down before he kissed her forehead,"Ok,now I'll make us some lunch."
Derek nodded and walked toward his room with a smile plastered on his face.
Lucia started at their lunch,she grabbed a basket and filled it with fruit,ham sandwiches and warm blood in a thermus.
Derek came back and leaned against the counter, watching Lu. "Blood?"
"Huh,yeah mixed with wine."Lucia said.
He grinned and watched her silently.
Lucia grabbed the basket and blanket,"Ready?"
Lucia held the items and went towards the door.
He followed behind her and opened the door for her.
Lucia smiled at him as she then stepped out.
Derek grinned and closed the door stepping out, feeling a bit awkward.
Lucia took his hand,"Its only us."
"I know." He glanced at her and began walking, holding her hand.
He smiled slightly. "I'm not. It feels awkward between me and you." He looked at her.
Lucia stopped and looked at him,"How is it?"She asked.
He shrugged and looked at her. "I don't know, it just is. I feel, I don't know..." He sighed.
"You have mixed emotions after I was with Jackson right?"Lucia said.
He nodded, glancing away from her.
"I understand,you need time."Lucia said kissing his cheek,"But remember you can ask me anything."
Derek wrapped his arms around her as soon as her lips touched his cheek. "I know Lu. I love you." He smiled and kissed her neck.
Lucia had allowed the basket and blanket to drop lightly to the ground,"And I love you."
He nodded and hugged her. Minutes later he pulled away and picked up the basket, smiling at her.
Lucia hugged him tightly before breaking away,he picked up the basket and she the blanket as well as his hand.
Derek smiled and walked to the place where they had their first picnic. "Lu. How do you feel about us?" He asked softly.
Lucia smiled hearing the stream,"Huh,I love us,no dobt you are mine always."She said kissing his cheek.((Nite.))
He smiled and nodded. "Okay."
He kissed her cheek. "I'm gonna forget about the past Lu and just move forward." He responded.
"Thats good to hear."Lucia said.
He nodded. "But the sex...that might take time." He smiled not really sure.
He smiled and stopped. "This is our spot."
