Lucia still lay on the counter watching him as he came over.
He smiled and smacked her butt gently. He kissed her cheek and smiled.
Lucia giggled,"Stings,but I like it."She giggled as he kissed her cheek.
"I thought you'd say that." He smiled and kisses her neck.
Lucia giggled softly at his comment as he kissed her neck.
He grinned and leaned against tue counter.
Lucia then rolled so she laid on her back looking up at him.
He smiled and traced his finger down her chest.
Lucia watched him as he traced down her chest.
He looked at her and smiled, as his finger came back up.
She smiled softly and relaxed into his touch.
He smiled and stopped his finger pulling it away. "I love you." He kissed her lips quickly.
She kissed him back softly as she quickly captured his finger in her lips.
She looked up at him,"What?"As she blushed.
He shook his head and smiled down at her. "Nothing."
She let go of his thumb and playfully pulled him to her.
He smiled and Kissed her neck as she pulled him to her.
Luna let out a soft sigh he kissed her neck as he arms wrapped around him.
He smiled and looked at her.
Lucia looked at him,her bruised eye had healed and she had her face beck,but what took its place was a golden lily from her far right jaw up across her eye and over her temple disappearing under her hair line.
Derek looked at the side of her face. "What's that?" He traced the golden lily with his finger.
Lucia furrowed her brows with a confused look on her face,"Whats what?"She asked feeling him trace his finger on her face,Whats he talking about?
He picked up run in his arms and went into the bathroom. He held her up in the mirror and touch her face again. "That."
Lucia let out a surprised squeal as he picked her up and walked towards and into the bathroom as he showed her in the mirror,she touched her face as he did,"Oh my,I I don't know,maybe after I get hurt and my wounds heal I get this."She said looking at the tattoo.
"You're half witch...can't you ask you fellow witches about this?" He touched the lily and continued to trace it.
She brought her hand down and set it in her lap with the other,"I could,but I don't know if they will respond as me being only half and vampire."She said feeling him trace it once again.
He dropped his hand and nodded. "Yeah, I know how you feel. It does sometimes suck to be half vampire and half of something else...your friends and family reject you." He sat her down and held her hand.
Lucia knew all to well as he spoke,"Yes,and you cant do things as well as others and they cast you out or you have to leave."As he sat her down and held her hand."Dear child you know nothing don't you."A voice said.
Derek nodded and kissed her healed eye softly.
Lucia smiled softly as she closed her eyes as he kissed her healed eye."LUCIA RAE BLOODROSE!!"The voice screamed at her as a woman appeared in the doorway in a flowing black dress,her silver hair up and eyes narrowed.
Derek turned around and jumped slightly. "Who are you?" He asked the woman in the doorway of the restroom.
Lucia jumped as well,"MOTHER!!"She said in a surprised tone."I'm Emma Bloodrose,her mother and you dear Derek are her lover are you not?"Emma said leaning against the doorway.
Derek looked at Lucia and back to her mother. "Yes I am, nice to meet you Mrs. Bloodrose." He looked at her.
Lucia covered her face with her hands,"Mom,god!"She said into her hands."Good,very good."She said looking at him,"And you as well,now,bring her with you and come into the living room to talk about her,'tattoo."She said walking out and into the living room sitting on a chair and gracefully crossing her legs.
Derek looked at Lucia and grinned. "I like your mom. Did she think I was hot or something?" Henasked taking her hand and pulled her out the restroom toward the living room.
Lucia looked at his grinning face,"She just likes you is all."She said as he took her hand and followed him out into the living room where her mother sat."Now Lucia,what happened to your face?"She said looking at her daughter.
Derek sat down on the couch and looked at her mom. "She was attacked while I was gone. It's my fault really."
Lucia sat next to him and took his hand,"No its not,he caught me off guard was all." As she spoke softly."By who may I ask."As she looked at them.
"Jackson. He's a vampire who likes, loves Lu." He looked at her.
Emma looked out the window,"Hmm,yes that name seems familiar,"She said then looked at them,"Jackson was long ago sent to be your husband,but after we discovered you were half we called the wedding off."She said.Lucia was speechless,"Wha-What?"
Derek mouth dropped and he looked at Emma. "You've got to be joking."
((And Jackson comes in))"No,Derek,I'm not."Emma said flatly as she looked at them.
"Oh no,god no!"Lucia said downing her head in her lap and grabbing her hair.
Derek rubbed her back.

Lucia shook her head back and forth,"No no no!!"She said shaking as she felt Derek rub her back,then her head shot and saw Jackson smiling at her mother,"No,Its not,I don't love you!"She said as she crawled closer to Derek with her golden lily showing."Oh come now Lucia,Jackson is a very wonderful match for you,hes rich,handsome,has good family and cares for you."Emma cooed ass he went to stand by Jackson with a smile that soon turned to a frown at her daughters behavior.
Derek looked at Emma and Jackson, holding Lucia tightly. "She's not marrying him, I love her and I'd rather die than see Lu with him any day."
Jackson nodded and stood beside Emma. "Emma's right Lucia, I love you and I can make you happy."

Derek pulled Lucia to him, wiling her tears. "Emma, I love you daughter and that's not gonna change. I'm not giving her up and what makes you think I'm no good for her? You don't even know me." He looked at her.

Lucia was pulled right to him,she wrapped her arms around his waist,"Thank you my love."As she laid her head on his chest looking at Jackson.Emma laughed,"Oh dear boy,I know more than you think."She said dangerously,"Jackson use any mean neccisary to get my daughter."She whispered to him then vanished.
