Carol | 33 comments Love to meet other reader/knitters! I'm witnwool on Ravelry, and I've just begun to try knitting while listening to audiobooks--the best of both worlds!

Saj Hi everyone! I'm still new to Goodreads and getting to know the site, but I'm loving it so far. I'm also excited to find the Ravelry group, it's my number one internet addiction (unless you include lolcats).

Wylie Kay (wklilly) Yes Carol, I am in the same boat. I am not one of the lucky ones, talented enough to knit and read at the same time. Audio books seems (so far) to help in getting through some of my books.

Jill | 3 comments Hi! I'm totally addicted to Ravelry and knitting. On Goodreads, I'm a part of 144 books in 2010. Thank goodness for audiobooks otherwise I'd never get anywhere near 144 books.

Bonny | 7 comments Wow!! Nice to see so many people here :))

I'm completely addicted to both Goodreads and ravelry, too. I'm bonnyalma on ravelry.

Brenda (brenda74) Hi, I just found this group and am so excited! Knitting and reading are two of my favorite hobbies. I'd like to make a bunch of friends and see what you guys and gals enjoy to read! So, feel free to friend me :)

Oh yeah, I'm Gornickmom on ravelry, not the most inventive name, but it's one I remember, lol.

Brenda

Jennifer I am new to both Ravelry and Goodreads. Because of Goodreads, haven't had much time to play with Ravelry yet but I hope to soon. I also find it hard to choose between knitting and reading! I am humnbird on Ravelry :) :)

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 153 comments I haven't managed to knit and read at the same time yet (though I have heard of some who can) - so I knit while watching TV. Particularly in the ad breaks.

I can't read and do anything, even eating or drinking, but I love to listen to podcasts and audio books.
The audio isn't to distracting if I need to follow a pattern and the knitting keeps me busy so my mind doesn't wander and stays focussed on the story.
