Winter Challenge 2011: Completed Tasks with ?s/problems

For this this task, you will roll 2 dice. You will then read 2 books written by one or two new-to-you authors (see below) that corresponds to the numbers you rolled. If you roll doubles, you would do the same option twice.
OK, I guess I was confused by the first paragraph of the task where it says you may choose or 1 or 2 new authors. I chose 1 new author
In other words the task requires 2 books by the same new author or 2 books by 2 different new authors? Right?
No problem, I'll figure something out. I guess I had a senior moment. haha

That's correct.

Oh, okay. Didn't see that. I will read something else tonight!

I think you missed my Goodreads Author in my post #1133 (page #23 of task posts). I read The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger a GRA.
I believe I should have a total of 3 Goodreads Authors.

272 (Laurie R King)
585 (Janette Rallison)
821 (Leah Wilson)
1158 (Laini Taylor and Michael Grant)

Sandy- I forgot to claim a Goodreads Author when
I posted task 25.1 - Rachel Lee's task: Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
(Message 1152)
(Plumeria- Read a book that is first in a series)
The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
Thank you---
Do I need to repost?

By my calculations, I should have 175 points through posts 1250. It is listed on the readerboard as 170. Is there a problem I missed? (highly possible)
So far, I have these tasks in my records: 30.4, 20.10, 5.8, 10.10, 10.8, 10.8, 20.9, 10.1, 25.2, 15.6, 15.8, 5.8 = 175

They're all there - but apparently my fingers thought that you'd like to try varying the spelling of your readerboard name! And, of course, when I enter the names at all differently in the spreadsheet, it doesn't consolidate the points, so your GRA author tickets are split between the 2 names. I'll reunite the two in the next update.

About half the book takes place underwater, I'd guess. It was a slog to get through (not that it counts... but it was). It's essentially The Little Mermaid without the cute talking sea creatures.
Please let me know how you'd like me to proceed. I can't find any reviews that mention % above/below sea, so if you want me to reallocate, I can.

That's fine, it was not resolved in the help thread, but half underwater is fine. The GR description did not have that information. No need to repost.

The book you claimed for a BB ticket is a large print book. You can only claim a BB ticket for a large print edition if you normally must read large print editions.

30.1 requires two new-to-you authors or one new-to-you author and a follow-up book by that author that fits another of the categories.
Here's the requirement from the task:
"Your first book must be written by a new-to-you author. If you like that author, you may read another book written by that same author. If you don't like the author of the first book (or if you just want to broaden your horizons), you may pick another new-to-you author for the second book."
