If we're still searching for a candidate to be Book of the Month for March, then may I suggest The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater? I'm heard some very positive things about it.

Wow. Both of those books appear to be extremely intense, particularly the latter, and definitely worth reading. I'd be on board with choosing either of them as our book for March.
Lockdown would also be a good choice.

Did you catch the fact that the Lockdown I suggested was actually a different book than the one that you first mentioned? The one that you put forth as a possibility for our group's book next month was the one that I referred to as looking "extremely intense", though, and I'd be interested in reading it.

I wouldn't need to read the book again, but I'd be well prepared to discuss it with others since I've had so much time to mentally unpack the story's philosophical content.

For me if I read it again to close to the time I read it before it's not as satisfying and honestly kind of boring.

XD I'm sure it's in your library. I think it's a series or trilogy so therefore it's kind of old and libraries tend to get books later.

It's the same way for me. Rather than reading the book again, I'd just go from memory in the club's discussions.
