message 103: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía i was talking to pelicanz, pretending I thought what he said was funny. (no offense, pelicanz).

message 104: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía and Anything but Typical looks good. We'll definitely consider reading that.

message 105: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Oh. Okay (:

Why? Just... WHY?!?

message 107: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Just because is what I'm guessing.

message 108: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía that's what I figured, too.

See, I don't acknowledge these things sometimes... Okay, just SAY I'm slow sometimes. You're all thinking it anyway.

You are thinking about cake?! AWESOME!!

message 111: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía cake is yummy. :D

Meg | 180 comments Mod
Yes. I will, in fact, be eating some "Darn Good Chocolate Cake" later this afternoon-- I invited family friends for my post-birthday Family Friends party. Can't wait!! :D

Poor you. The icing is totally the best part!!

message 114: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Only on wedding cake.

message 115: by Meg (new)

Meg | 180 comments Mod
I personally like all kinds of icings, I just don't like the flexible cake putty, though. It's not the best tasting thing in the world.

message 116: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía Meg, that "Flexible cake putty" is called fondant, I believe. My mom uses it all the time when she makes cakes.

message 117: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Pelicanz wrote: "I'm not married."

Me either. I'm just dragged to weddings all the time. I always like the salad and the cake.

message 118: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía Ive been to one, when my aunt got married. It was pretty fun.

message 119: by Adriana (new)

Adriana No. Unless you like dancing.
How have you never been to a wedding!?
Your family must not be big or your parents are nice...

message 120: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Cool!
Most of mine are a couple of miles away from each other. Same state.

I've been to a wedding... that is, when I was still in the womb, apparently, and once when I was a few months old. Never remembered a thing. But, this summer, I'm SUPPOSED to go to my Aunt's wedding in New York... It ain't gonna happen, 'cuz my mom hates going over there. So yeah. D: But they sound really fun!!

None of my relatives live anywhere close to me... D:

Weddings are not fun. I've been to like 20 of them. I used to like it but when you are a teenager all you want to do is stay home read or play video games. Anything else. Unless you like to dance.

Adriana Pelicanz wrote: "pancake"

I don't like pancakes.

message 125: by Adriana (new)

Adriana They make me full too fast.

message 126: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía Pancackes are freakin delicious. I like to try to beat my record for most eaten at one time. Call me a fatty if you want. :P

message 127: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Just too much for me.

I like apple pancakes the best. Have any of you had apple pancakes? I think chocolate chip's pretty awesome, too, but apple is the bomb!! :DDD

message 129: by Meg (new)

Meg | 180 comments Mod
OOOOOH, they're THE BEST!!!!!!! Ask your mom to try it sometime!!

message 130: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía my mom makes pancakes and then makes a syrup with apple slices in it and it's SOOOOOO good. :D yum

message 131: by Adriana (new)

Do you enjoys just making up the most random words in conversation?

message 134: by Meg (new)

Meg | 180 comments Mod
Yeah, but they are still random words.

message 135: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía like when you say something and someone randomly says "Your face!" or "Your Mom!"
I hate that.

message 136: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Well at least he's not saying that.

message 137: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía you have a point! Why don't we look on the bright side?

message 138: by Adriana (new)

Adriana No. Ferret.

message 139: by Adriana (new)

Adriana I don't know what to say to that...what's oscillating?

message 140: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany To oscillate means to swing or move back and forth, sort of like a pendulum does

I find it really funny when people do that. Like, Megan, in Art Club, she told me one time that she had a "war" with her and some guy saying, "You're racist!" "Your FACE is racist!" "No, YOUR face is racist!" and she ended it with "YOUR MOM"S FACE IS RACIST!!" It was hilarious!! :D

message 145: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía yup, I don't.

Adriana Tiffany wrote: "To oscillate means to swing or move back and forth, sort of like a pendulum does"

thanks! (:
Wouldn't have thought that.

message 147: by Ana Sofía (new)

Ana Sofía anyway, so the february book will be anything but typical.

message 148: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Starburst wrote: "anyway, so the february book will be anything but typical."

Cool. I'll get it tomorrow (:

Josiah (kenjenningsjeopardy74) Tiffany wrote: "To oscillate means to swing or move back and forth, sort of like a pendulum does"

It's also closely related to the word "vacillate".

Starburst wrote: "anyway, so the february book will be anything but typical."

I'm looking forward to it! I'll be plenty well prepared for discussion of Anything But Typical, as I read it back in 2010.
