LOL. It said he was having his 21st birthday except that he was already 21 in Frostbite. He turned 21 twice. :/

She's 18 and I know many teenagers much more mature than she is. plus, you'd think her circumstances would grow her up a bit.. Apparently not.

S.L.J. Part of me actualy feels sorry for the dhampires. They're like pre-programmed robots. The idea that they must become Guardians is hammered into their brains from the cradle and if they refuse then they are shunned or excomminicated.

Not exactly a great life.

yeah, you have a very valid point (I'm kinda glad I'm not a guardian!)

Hannah I think that she def got more BAD ASS as the books went on but I really like Adrian so I got quite upset with how she treated him. It's very similar to how I feel for Jacob in Twilight.

Exactly. Blood Promise was ulitmately a pointless book. The mission for the entire thing was a failure and apart from the introduction to Sydney, all the relivent info that came out of it was found out in the last 50 odd pages. All Rose really did in this book was travel around Russia and spend all of Adrians money.

She met Dimitri's family (Was that important to the plot?) She met dhampires that activily hunt Strogoi. (what happened to them?) She controlled ghosts. (That's never happened again.) She let a vampire drink her blood. (Nothing new there.)

Blood Promise would have been a short story if you took out all the filler.

message 213: by Angel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Angel jezka I completely agree with you amd would like to add that I loved every person in this book. I think adrian knew what he was getting into ( if everyone paid attention he made countless remarks about dimitri and rose) and I love adrian as well...I, jist saying the books show how the characters evolve and the reasons they were the way they were. in the firsg one it says rose's lack of control and practically her whole personality is because she is shadow kissed and she learns to control that throughout the story...and if you think about it would adrian have ended up with sydney had rose not have broke his heart? no, she would be with adrian and not truly be happy, dimitri woild be alone and lostmand the series would have died off....every role is given for a reason

B.Carter First of all Rose is 17 years old and not even that she told Adrian she will try, she did and it didn't work. Yes she should have took a different route but what 17 year old has all the answers and lissa is a big baby who needed to disconnect work rose for awhile to learn how to be more independent she can't rely on rose forever.
