Well, the bug is fixed. Weirdly, no new threads could/ can be started recently in groups that have names starting with a numeral.

To fix this, our "50 Books" group has been re-named "Challenge: 50 Books."

OK.Thanks for the fix. I will be listing my 1st 10 of my books for all to see. Should anyone have any suggestions of books for the New Year please let me know. Thank all of you. Also looking for book friends.

I am having trouble getting the book giveaway to work. It won't let me sign up for any books. any ideas?

Is that the giveaway at http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway? I gave it a try and everything seemed to work. At what point do you know you've run into trouble?
