Could be U.S. only. Not sure if AU has its own Deals page or not.

Andrew (adrew) | 426 comments The UK Daily Deals seem to work. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.ht...

Could even be book to book? Who knows. Either way bummer.

Does it matter?

From what I have heard there is some minor character overlap but otherwise there is no reason that you have to read this after the first law trilogy.

Nick (whyzen) | 1295 comments 11/19 - Not that its scifi but today's deal is Ian Fleming's "Live and Let Die". I've not read any of the Bond books so I thought for 2$ I'd pick it up and add it to my already unruly to-read list. My problem is when I do get around to reading it I'll be humming the movie theme song by Paul McCartney throughout the whole read.

IMO, you don't NEED to read the previous books, but there is a lot of context that previous books provide that would allow to more easily understand the under currents in this book. The Northern warrior culture is very unique and plays a huge role in this book. I would suggest at least reading Best Serverd Cold then The Heroes. Explains a lot about a few of the main characters histories and development.

It is a great book. Read it on its own if you don't feel like reading the others. This is Abercrombie's war epic novel set in his world. Best Served cold was his version of a revenge adventure. I hear the next novel set in this world will be written in the style of a western. Can't wait.

Michael (michaeljsullivan) | 112 comments This is the third or fourth book that Orbit has made available as a Kindle Book of the day. Always a great deal. I'm glad I was able to grab one up.
