Shannon (ShannonCinderz) | 8 comments It's great to meet other Stephen King fans. Welcome to the group. I must thank Kyle for inviting me.

I live in the dense tall pines of southern Oregon, and since childhood have always loved the woods, for there is something beautiful and tranquil there as much as there is something haunting and hidden. It's a great place for me. I love the city, but I have a soft spot for the woods.

My kids are grown, I'm finished with university, and now I am more free to return at last to my love of reading and writing. And who would I read most? Mr. KING, of course. I have so much to catch up on!!

I became a King fan when I was a young girl when I picked up my mother's copy of CARRIE, and other fine novels that followed and hooked me up to his view of horror for the rest of my days.

Hi, I'm Josiah ( duh ) and I live in New Zealand. Over here it is very easy to find SK books but very hard to BUY them.
I am currently 10 and was introduced to SK by my dad. He introduced me with The Stand. From then on I have bought 18 of his books and read approximatley 27. I still have approximately 40 left to read.

Lexi (lexiz90) Hi, I'm Lexine. I'm 21 and am also from New Zealand.

I got into Stephen King books after watching The Green Mile a lot and finally reading the book.

Since then, I have bought most of his books (just missing his non fiction books and 11/22/63 is still on it's way currently)

I have read 28 books and still have another 26 left in my collection to read. I'm currently reading Bag of Bones

Amy Lignor (httpwwwgoodreadscomalignor) | 6 comments Hey, everyone! I am SO happy to be a part of this. I LOVE Stephen King. I met him about ten years ago when he was giving a talk and I was mesmerized. I had already been mesmerized by the 'golden oldies' LOL - Carrie, of course AND I STLL want Christine in my backyard. His words and humor inspired me SO much to write and I have loved him ever since! And a sequel to The Shining! Merry Xmas, Happy New Year - everything comes with that news for me LOL.

Cassie | 7 comments Hi. I'm Cassie. I grew up in Maine and moved to Oregon a few years ago, I always loved Stephen King but even more now that I've moved away from Maine. Since most are set in Maine, its like reading about home :) Sadly, living in Maine, I never actually got to meet him BUT Thinner was filmed in my home town and my grandfather got to shoot bullet holes in one of the cars for him which was pretty neat.

Amy Lignor (httpwwwgoodreadscomalignor) | 6 comments LOL. I would kill to live in Maine. I know. Odd right. I dont even like snow. I grew up in it. But I swear, if you even lived near the guy I bet your writing would improve just cause he creates magic.

Cassie | 7 comments He has a really neat haunted house thing for Halloween but I haven't been to it :( Maine's super pretty, I just take it for granted since I'm from there, its just normal to me. I cant imagine not living on the coast, even moving 3000 miles from home and I still live right on the coast, just a different ocean.

Amy Lignor (httpwwwgoodreadscomalignor) | 6 comments LOL. I lived in CT always east - been here in the desert though for five years and I am COMPLETELY missing the ocean. Heading back up there in a few months and I have a feeling I'll stay
