Hey, I made the first move in the relationship I'm in!
I think it should be the girl, cuz the guy is most likely ready, and the girl may not be, so it's better if she kisses him.

Not for me... I kissed him... and we're still going out after 7 monthes! OMG!!!!!!!! I just realized today was our 7 monthaversery. We went trick or treating together an held hands most of the time. And our parents still don't know.

Boys should make the first move. I never make the first move i wait for a boy to.
But what if he's nervous?
You guys are being traditional. Tradition sucks.

it's asking everyone Tess, not just you.

well.. ive always been asked out..
but then yesterday i asked the guy i liked out and he said YES!!!!!!!! :)
so basically.. if ur tired of waiting (it was like.. 2 dayz for me) then u just ask him :P
Because I actually make sense unlike some unicorns...
oh, I put unicorn where I want to put a cuss word really bad but don't want to get kicked of of goodreads.

She's just mad at me because I called her a b**** after she called all southerners racist, pro-slavery, kkk people, and republicans.
And hello tess? doesn't my toadette picture give away the hint (along with my name) that I'm a girl???!!!
use context clues, god.

ok, so i a girl kissed you first, you would break up with her or something?

I think it's really cool when the girl makes the first move. It's breaking tradition.
Dang it, now I have unwritten stuck in my head.

I know a whole ton of guys who cower in the corners and never even speak to a girl unless they say something first and then they go back to hiding
I think guys or girls should make the first move. It doesn't really matter, I mean, if the girl is ready, then she should make the move.

OMG IF U LIKE THE GUY MAKE THE FIRST MOVE DONT WAIT AROUND TILL PRINCE CHARMING COMES ALONG N SWEAPS U OFF UR FEET CHANCES R THAT SOME ONE WIL BEAT U 2 THE PUCH IF U WAIT TOO LONG :)
TRADITION SOMETIMES NEEDS TO BE BROKEN

I think it depends how you categorize a first move
Using my own experiences as an example...
The guy I liked was majooorly out of my league (my best friend refers to him as "the god of men") So naturally, I was way to shy and nervous to make the first move. Thankfully he asked me to dance at the last high school homecoming. He started talking to me over facebook and even offered to drive me home if i ever needed a ride (my cars in the shop)
I consider all that his first move so I considered the next move mine. I grew some balls and asked him for a ride home. After that he asked for my number and we've been texting every day since (like 3 weeks!)
So yeah I believe that "making a move" is a give and take situation. I don't think either party should have to do all the work haha
Besides, if you rely on the guy to do everything he may assume your not interested and stop pursuing you.

In fact, things seem harder from a boy's perspective because they are told by tradition that making a move is their job. Imagine how difficult that is for a shy guy??
Oh and update btw, I just received a date invitation from the "god of men" lol
