Charlotte Hunger Games, because it has others things included, whereas it seems that that is all that twlight is about...

Kania Twilight, because the love between Peeta,Katnis and Gale not so deep as Edward, Bella and Jacob

Josey Steidinger I love the hunger games sooo much more than the twilight love triangle plus i love gale

Meaghan Hunger Games! Twilight is ridiculous. Katniss is more worried about making sure everyone survives than whether or not the cute boy likes her. She's a fighter, not a whiner.

and honestly, it doesn't matter how old we are. I'm 28 and devouring the newest Percy Jackson book.

I loved that series

LOL. I'm with Anna.

Keri Lake Hmmm. I think the focus was the love triangle in Twilight. Jacob and Edward were clearly in love with Bella and I could sense more of the conflict going on inside of her. The rivalry between the two guys was pretty obvious.
Peeta was attracted to Katniss in The Hunger Games, but I didn't get a real strong sense of attraction between Gale and Katniss. The triangle was a bit apathetic. Katniss seemed as though she could take it or leave it, in my opinion. I really enjoyed reading the Hunger Games, but more as a dystopian story than a love story.

I totally agree with you! Your like the first person in this discussion to agree with me!

AnnieB From the begining you knew that Edward and Bella were together. and (personal opinion) i think that Jacob tried to hard. If ya know what i mean. But in the Hunger Games, i didn't know. well i kinda did at the middle of the 2nd one........

one second thought...i think that they are both equally good love triangles.

Chelsea Denisse That's true. They're both pretty good. They both have their flaws, and they both have awesome moments.

AnnieB ya, because

in twilight you knew that she would chose Edward from the beginning, but it was still a debate and rivalry.

in the hunger games it wasn't the main topic (which is what i personally like) BUT you didn't really know until the 2 and/or 3 book. (depending on who you are)

so ya. they need to make a teen/children book that has a GOOD... i mean REALLY GOOD...love triangle.

Chelsea Denisse Tell me about it. I'm having alot of trouble finding books with good love triangles

RedEye_Witch If you want. Try a book by Maria V. Snyder, her glass trilogy books. I think there's a love triangle in it. Somewhere. I think.
And what about Clockwork Angels by Cassandra Clare? I would say they do have a love triangle too. I guess.
I'm only trying to help.

Laura Exactly there's so much more to the story than the "triangle" Jenny wrote: "Yeah... I agree. For some reason I liked The Hunger Games love Triangle better."

We were discussing that Fight Club has the most epic love triangle ever earlier in this forum. You might be surprised.

Diane I didn't really get the "love triangle" vibe from Hunger Games (therefore, to me, the better love triangle would go to Twilight). Besides, in HG they were too busy trying to stay alive. I like how romance was only secondary.

I agree 100%! I NEVER thought that the hunger games was a love triange...so when people started doing the "team gale, team peeta" thing I was like... what? so... yeah... :)

message 118: by Rosa (new) - rated it 5 stars

Rosa Deleon I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT REFER TO THEM AS "TEAM GALE OR TEAM PEETA" BECAUSE THAT CORRELATES WITH TWILIGHT AND THIS IS SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. IT'S UNIQUE AND INDEPENDENT STORY LINE DESERVES TO HAVE ITS OWN TERMS. =)

Rebecca A Honestly Twilight had a really crappy love triangle. There was never a doubt in your mind as to who she was going to pick. She was always going to pick Edward no matter what he did.

In terms of Hunger Games, people had to really get into that second story to see what was going on between Katniss and her boys. In the end though? You didn't know who she was going to pick, not until the choice was taken from her hands.

Either way, both triangles were hideously flawed, but if I have to pick a winner I'd pick Hunger Games because it was always, at all times, believeable. Twilight lacked that certain sentiment.

Nya Tomlinson-Horan-Malik-Payne-Styles Danielle wrote: "Hunger Games only because the triangle is not what the whole book is about."

Yeah. even though twilight has other problems, it always seems to come back to Edward, Bella, and Jacob. in the Hunger Games, the triangle of love is just a contributing factor that effects the main character's decisions.

Lea (Peeta's #1 Fangirl!) I like THG love triangle better than Twilight. You always knew that Bella was going to choose Edward. Jacob just sorta interviended in there and didn't change anything. It was a pathetic excuse for a love triangle. However, in THG, I never knew who Katniss would choose. Plus in THG, the love triagle is only a portion of the whole book. Katniss even reminds herself "I can't really think about kissing when I have a rebellion to incite.". That's what I love about Katniss. She never ponders things that take her away from the more important thing going on.

That is a perfect description. We all knew it was Edward but I never figured out katniss would be with ________ at the end.

Lea (Peeta's #1 Fangirl!) Yes _________ :)

Lea (Peeta's #1 Fangirl!) Me too. _________is SOO amazing :)

Yes i have heard that, and i've also been trying to get a hold of the Infernal Devices series, thanks so much for your help

RedEye_Witch Always here to help, and at sometimes argue with, the people who loves to read.

Amanda (Gale's Chosen One) Potter Both were kind of interesting, but both so damn predictable. Edward and Peeta are the same, whereas Jacob and Gale are aswell. You could tell that Katniss would choose Peeta and Bella would choose Edward. The only difference is The Hunger Games had something going for it other then the love triangle but Twilight had nothing going for it. So i'd say The Hunger Games, but i'd have preferred it if Katniss ended up with Gale.

Megan I am an 11 year old who likes both love triangles but thout HG was better
