Often only considered at the end of writing and repeat editing of your tome, the acknowledgements are important. Make notes of all those friends, critics and bloggers who encouraged your work and even those who said, 'Don't do it!' Now I've come around to writing the ack page for my SF trilogy, ARIA and for the first volume, Left Luggage, I am taken aback at the sub-story it revealed in itself. From the famous to the unknown, I've mentioned them in my blog and their contribution. I can't say I've including every soul who urged me on or who gave advice - yet.
