Kyrah I think J.K Rowling should write another series. I personally think the series should either be about Snape or Luna. They both have interesting backrounds that I would like to hear more about.

Adia Wilde YES! not in the same series, but just some other good books...she's a great author!

Ally J.K Rowling should totally write another book! I think it should be about harry and the others all grown up and what there kids are getting up to at hogwarts!

Kaylynn I think she should most definetely write another book,i love Harry Potter but i personally think she should start a whole new series but have it in the same genre.I believe that that would be wickedly awesome :)

Thata Martins I'm still hoping that someday she'll put Harry Potter to rest and write another thing, completely different. Maybe something more adult, even. I'm eager to see what else she can do, since she is my favorite writer.

That is such an awesome idea !!! i would love to read about that ! i also think that she left the story t end at the right moment however a prequel would be amazing... If she would write about the marauders, and dumbledore and voldemort's uprising, how the order of the phoenix was created and how they fought the dark lord the first time... all leading till the night in godric's hollow where she leaves it right where it began in Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone, with hagrid finding baby harry XD

I agree with this. I'd be really happy to read more J.K. Rowling, but going too far with a single set of characters can ruin things, and that would be way too sad to see with Harry Potter.

Harsh Rakesh Let Harry's story touch new milestones. As far as new book from Rowling is concerned, I think she should write a new fiction and show the world that this genre has more dimensions which an ingenious mind like hers can reach to...

Erica no, she should end this series here. but it would be nice if she wrote other novels!!

Sevania I personally would love to read another of her books. But she intended the series to be over after the seventh book. If JK Rowling gave in the fan pressure and wrote anothr Harry Potter book it wouldn't be the same quality because she didn't intend to write it and didn't particularly want to. I'm not pretending to be an expert on JK Rowling or anything, that's just what I think.

Ciara I think that J.K is planning on writing another book, or even a few, but not anything to do with Harry Potter.

Britt good to know. just wondering have any of you read rick riordon?

Britt i mean his books

Sofia I'm not really sure. It's been an amazing journey but now it's over... I'm a Potterhead too (hehe) but it's over (well, it isn't, because magic never ends xD), and I don't think you can really deny that.
However I sequel to the series (ie. the next generation) would be awesome. :3

Tatiana I think going into more detail about certain characters would be great. Such as having a book about how Dumbledore grew up etc..

Julie I would love if she wrote a prequel to Harry Potter that would showcase James, Sirius and Lupin's adventures at Hogwarts :D

Julie Molly I think that sounds great I would definitely read it!!

Sofia I'd definitely read that. :D

Sofia Ooooh a prequel would be great too :D

Nichole Wolfe I personally think Rowling should write something apart from HP. I mean that's all she's ever written as far as anyone knows. And Zack's right. She is a genius when it comes to plot. I'm interested in what else she could come up with. I definitely don't think she should write any sequels about the kids. Honestly, I don't know if prequels would be a good idea either. Rowling, from what I see in her HP books, is primarily a plot writer. Her plot in HP far exceeds her character development. I mean, of course, they each had their own personalities and backgrounds because every major character must in a story. However, I have a sneaking suspicion she wouldn't be able to pull off, for instance, a romance novel, which are almost always character based, and involve much more detailed characters than what she did with her HP characters. But I think she's perfectly capable of coming up with another great plot separate from HP. Also, I think if she were to stay within the HP world, she should stay away from all the major characters of the original series. A new set of characters would be nice to see, but she'd need a kick-ass plot to have any hope of living up to the HP series.

Kelli As much as I (mostly) love spin-off series/prequels/sequels etc...Harry Potter should be left alone. It's perfect the way it is, and it wouldn't be the same: it would just drag the HP series down. I would LOVE to see if she could write something completely different that's as amazing as HP though. I think she should start a new project (:

Xenon Only if it's about Voldemort!
I'm such a Voldy fan. I would love to see a whole novel just about Tom Riddle and his psyche.
However, as far as continuations go, no way. I think it would ruin the feeling.

Kayla I hope she comes out with something new - just nothing pertaining to Harry Potter. Nothing in Harry's life could be as interesting now that Voldemort is gone as it was before the amazing finale. I would hate to see a continuation put out that couldn't live up to the story we all love.

Britt i agree that it probably would not be as good.
but i`m just really sad there over.

Me too! :(

yep! I totally agree¬

My thoughts go both ways on this one.. I think she did end it perfectly, but would love to read more about the kids of the main characters. But with Voldy gone, what would the main "evil" be? I would love to read something from her, though.. surely she is creative enough to come up with something else..
